  1. At some point do we wonder if Myers does it on purpose? QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:08 PM) YES
  2. If we lose the game , Myers gets credit for a close and closer to an extra 10 million? QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 09:05 PM) I was okay if Myers didn't walk Reynolds there and got two easy/quick outs. But once you put that guy on base, you have to go to Thornton, pretty much.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 8, 2012 -> 10:29 PM) Again, he used that bench to get us a starting pitcher, a 3B, and our 8th inning guy. I agree but the beanch is still very weak!
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 05:25 PM) Yeah, WTF. The game is already on CSN+ and it doesn't matter anyway. There we go, back to Oakland Directv is not showing CSN+ so they are just giving us a peek.
  5. The weekend schedule is weak. Does that mean less weekend packages. I have it and I am thinking of not renewing. No cubs games? No yankees? The others are nothing interesting.
  6. QUOTE (2OutRally @ Aug 11, 2009 -> 11:20 PM) AM I DREAMING? GO ALEXEI!!! Yes you DiD!!!!
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 11, 2009 -> 11:06 PM) Funniest thing I've read in a while. Oh, and I also think Seattle will hit a solo homer in the bottom of the 8th, probably Gutierrez. sorry, wrong, go sox!
  8. QUOTE (Kenny Hates Prospects @ Aug 11, 2009 -> 11:02 PM) Good lord, we're on the verge of yet another shutout. And God knows we can't hit AAAAARRRRRdsma. I am tired of Dye Thome and Konerko.
  9. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jul 30, 2008 -> 07:07 PM) magic If you are going to play Paulie at least move him down to 8th. He can still swing but may not kill every rally.
  10. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 15, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) Is it just me or has every inning ended in a 3U grounder to Paulie? The last three have been groundout to first to end the inning.
  11. QUOTE (NCsoxfan @ May 5, 2008 -> 08:49 PM) why the FU%K would you allow Ozuna to hit with the bases loaded?????? pablo suck$ monkey ball$ Because they brought an extra pitcher (who never pitched) and Crede had a migraine, so there was no other player to bat except a pitcher.
  12. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jan 18, 2008 -> 01:36 PM) SOXTALK it is available! anyone?
  13. I think Kenny got schooled again and another team came in at the last moment and stole his player. Didnt help that Ozzie kept saying how miggy was getting in shape
  14. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 21, 2007 -> 05:13 PM) And there's the sterling Jerry Owens in the OF. No harm, at least he was trying to make a play. Bye Bye Day!
  15. Sadly, the crowd has to sit thru this game, just to get to the fireworks. Hopefully, the fireworks are not duds.
  16. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 15, 2007 -> 10:03 PM) I was there and this is the most ridiculous postponement I have ever witnessed. I had no hat. I had no umbrella, I watched most of the Bulls game from my seat exposed to all elements, and while I was a little damp, if you looked at me, you would have no idea I was out in a 2 hour rain delay. In fact, you would not be able to tell I was in the rain for 2 minutes. If they started at 7:30, the game would not have been delayed. The clubbies were dumping the gatorade coolers about 45 minutes before Gene Honda announced the postponement, which occurred at around 9:15, about the time they said the rain would stop. It was not raining at all when said announcement was made. Its also suspiciously about the same time beer sales would end and the hot dog stands would shut down had the game started on time. When we left, 1 minute after the announcement, the Yankees were already on their bus. I also have a problem with having the make-up date the next day. This isn't Wrigleyville, Sox fans have to go to work. They were actually a trio. I agree the weather was not that bad. if they started the game they would have finished without a delay. I heard about the cancellation from a security guard and beer vendoe 25 minutes before a annoucement on the pa. why is that? want peop;e to spend more or the players wanted to get out before the crowd? Also, why tommorow? why not in june when they come back so they can give people notice and make plans, not everyone can walk into to work and say I need the afternoon off.
  17. Why not bunt with anderson? He should be able to bunt.
  18. ''I've played through injuries, family issues with my dad or whatever, and I've been through stuff that something like this won't bother me. I've already made enough money to take care of my family.'' Finally, a player that is honest! I agree, he is classy and should end his career here.
  19. QUOTE(salty99 @ Feb 20, 2007 -> 08:27 AM) No. More lilkely there is a large group taking up thousands of tickets that day. Same thing last year, Sat night in May against KC and sold out before the first week was over. I remember it was a big group outing but can not remember who? maybe cub scouts?
  20. I am sure Schoeneweis couldn't get his pen out quick enough to sign it.
  21. During today's show, Murph went off on two callers who had the nerve to nominate him (Mike Murphy) for to"TOOL of the Week". One complained that he talks over his guests. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable.
  22. Nice to see that he is wearing his World Series ring to court.
  23. Per Ken Rosenthal - Foxsports.com The Dodgers have landed the biggest free-agent pitching prize to date, reaching a preliminary agreement on a three-year, $47 million contract with right-hander Jason Schmidt, FOXSports.com has learned. Schmidt, 33, chose the Dodgers over the Cardinals and Mariners, both of whom were seeking to add him to the top of their rotation. Link http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/6242312
  24. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Aug 23, 2006 -> 06:29 PM) With their teeth and both hands tied behind their back. There is more to being a manager than playing the righty - lefty card. Otherwise a little leaguer can be a manager.
