  1. That would make sense actually if they still see him as a starter. This might be where he's going to work. The other thing is that he was injured last year in the playoffs and this is just where he is post-injury. '
  2. He usually sits 96-97. He has games where he's 95-96 and games where he's 97-99.
  3. Because I think it was a result of him being unusually fresh+adrenaline last year. He'd thrown so few innings.
  4. Quit waiting for him to throw 100 again it's not coming back. He's going to top out at 98-99 and that's fine. Biggest thing for Crochet next spring is to find a changeup grip that actually gets it in the 86-88 mph range during games.
  5. Just my opinion but if he can get the command down I think Crochet will be fine at 95-98. That's still major gas from a LHP.
  6. ^^^^^ I think the metrics have Vaughn slightly below average but that's no different than Eloy. Eloy has much better range than Vaughn does though. I think if Eloy had the ability to quit hurting himself and teammates playing the field I'd rather have him out there, but idk if that will ever be the case.
  7. Idk who this is but WSD re-tweeted it. I'm assuming that if this is true it's because Montgomery will be gone.
  8. I understood why he took there. He's not going to do anything with that one anyway except GIDP. If the ump calls it a strike grab some bench. It's really hard to foul that pitch off.
  9. In 2019 the power was there but the walks weren't. Moncada's ceiling is combining his 2019 power with his 2021 plate discipline.
  10. The difference between 2017-20 Moncada and 2021 Moncada is that he spits on clear balls that he would have swung at before.
  11. Now that they're trying to win, I think you may have reached that point with Cease. If Cease sucks, you're down to one reliable starter in 2022.
  12. Cease, Crochet and Kopech have arms that you hold onto until they either figure it out or don't.
  13. Hopefully Sheets never plays the OF again after yesterday.
  14. Ok, I my argument was only if he was injured again.
  15. Throws hard and a big guy, possibly physically maxed out at 18.
  16. Kolek didn't have a secondary pitch? I was referring to the other similarities.
  17. ???? injured again? If so, starting to seem like Kolek part deux. At least he wasn't a top 5 pick.
  18. Vaughn is available for Reynolds imo because the difference in team control is only 1 year. Reynolds is more defensively versatile, is almost as good as Vaughn's ceiling is a switch hitter.
  19. The intention was to turn HRs in to 2B and 3B but they're turning into outs instead.
  20. Cleveland about to blow their team to smithereens.
