Thank You Jerry Reinsdorf!

I think he gets called up sometime in the first 10 days of June.- Thank You Jerry Reinsdorf!

If the pandemic drags into 2022 I don't even see the owners being willing to negotiate with the MLBPA until full attendance is possible again.- Garrett Richards to Boston, 1 year $10 million.
Zips has Giolito as the best pitcher in baseball this year, so there's that. I agree that it's a crapshoot beyond him.- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
Exactly.- Garrett Richards to Boston, 1 year $10 million.
Jon Gray, the same guy that lost 2mph off his fastball in 2020 and got lit up like a cheap Christmas tree?- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
Lol. You know that if they sign Cruz age will finally catch up to him. The only upside is that he's not a Twin, where if he was he'd surely hit 30+ HR. Cruz wants a 2 year deal from what I've heard. Idk if he gets it at his age.- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
^^^- Jameson Taillon traded to Yankees
I hope it's not a 1 year rental but I'd much rather acquire Taillon than sign Wainwright. However, It's probably Waino because Taillon is arb eligible and probably costs too much for Jerry.- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
I don't know......but I think for the next 2-3 years it's probable. You want to win championships? Go big or go home. The Padres and Dodgers aren't fucking around.- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
Nah, it's just about the Sox dude. The baseball gods love to smite them. It's their favorite pastime.- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
Age.....father time is undefeated.- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
I'm sorry, but I don't think either guy(especially Lynn) is as awesome of a get as everyone here. I think Lynn is more likely to be what he's always been (a 3-3.5 win guy) than what he was the last couple years. Hendriks is 32 and even though he's really good there's still the risk he becomes Kimbrel. This is the White Sox, where Murphy's law is the law of the land.- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
Wainwright is much more likely to be DFA worthy in June than Quintana is. It's not even close. All over $3M, which is nothing to a baseball team.- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
How so?- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
Fucking TLR......- The Wainwright to the Cards Thread
I'd much rather have had Quintana for 8 than Wainwright for 5. That's just Jerry pinching pennies.- Trade Whispers - Starting Pitchers
Madrigal is a one tool player but that one tool is elite. One tool players where that tool is the hit and it's a 70-80 have a place in MLB, especially when they play up the middle. Madrigal does....he's Nick Punto if Nick Punto was actually a good hitter. Lots of gork shots, ducksnorts and seeing eye grounders with the occasional double or triple.- Garrett Richards to Boston, 1 year $10 million.
That's if Cease can find the strike zone and miss bats.- Garrett Richards to Boston, 1 year $10 million.

If Richards isn't signing here, I want Archer or Walker. If those guys are out of the Sox price range, just save the money and roll with Lopez.- Thank You Jerry Reinsdorf!
It probably would have been Eaton or Lynn and that's about it.- Hector wrong. Again. - Cruz back with Min

If you go on baseball savant guess who Wainwright's #1 comp is for 2020.........you guessed it, 2019 Gio Gonzalez. - Garrett Richards to Boston, 1 year $10 million.
