I was at a game last year where this obnoxius Cubs fan was sitting in the front row of the bleachers actively rooting against the White Sox and giving us hell when we lost. A few fans got into it with this guy, and security ejected all the fans who were fighting except for the Cubs fan. And no one called for security, either.

In all fairness, Mariotti has been subject to physical threats by White Sox personal. If you were in such a situation where they start attacking you physically, would you want to go face-to-face with them? I wouldn't.

I've read a few of the threads, and this crazy guy named CubsBullsBears is just really whiney. It's hilarious. Read the thread in the transactions forum titled "Eyre Strike". He said if a trade with the White Sox was going to help them win the World Series, he wouldn't do it even if it helped the Cubs and was the best offer they had.

Of course it counts. A win is a win, a loss is a loss, no matter how you look at it.

Like the NBA. The cut-off date is January 30. I like the manager of the year idea from last year somewhat, too.

Maybe they should decide best record after June 30, kind of how the NBA does it, 2 weeks before the game. The one thing that's stupid is liking WS HFA to to ASG. I don't want some Cub or Pirate dictating whether we have HFA in the WS or not. That's stupid. I also think the previous idea of rotatin was also stupid, MLB saying that it'd be more cities where they need to secure a lot of hotel rooms on short notice??

I f***ing hate the Cubs above all okay. However, I know that the real enemy are teams in the AL (potential wild cards outside the division) and every game counts.
