Well it's hard to fault him. It was an 18-inning game. What can you do?? It ain't like the AL where you have the DH. Would you PH for your pitcher when he came up or no?? You're kind of screwed either way if you ask me.

Every team does that s***. They don't have an us vs. them or the kids can play or grinder ball, etc.

Yeah, but the whole grinder ball idea was built on not being a swing for the fences team. Right now, all we are doing is swinging for the fences, like we did from 2000-04. It was a play on words. There is a grinder ball rule that says never underestimate the power of power. To me, all this power is destroying what the grinder ball was built on: The power of no power.
