  1. Yeah, I read that about being able to see the ball a little longer and still being able to send it yard. I just couldn't find it. Thanks. So I was right, that he was able to see the ball longer, which is what enabled him to go yard 73 times, despite all the walks
  2. Read my post again. I said he got off to a slow start, spent some time on the DL, while Thome got off to a hot start. 1,000 post!!

  4. If we had Frank, we'd be out of the race. He got off to a slow start, and spent some time on the DL. Thome got off to an amazing start, and now w/ Konerko and Dye on fire, we can handle his regression.
  5. The coin tosses for tiebreakers are being held on Tuesday Tiebreaker possibilites: http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article...sp&c_id=mlb
  6. I meant the HBP record. Of course he's not going to get 3,000 hits by the end of this year
  7. Excatly. What I meant is that that was the reason why Bonds went yard 73 times, despite all the walks, that he was able to see the ball better, and could wait on it a little longer. Of course Bonds could hit w/o the juice. He was a 500-500 guy w/o it
  8. Are you serious?? How can like this guy?? He's a cheater, and he's the biggest dick ever
  9. Who cares?? The Buckeyes gave the Longhorns an ass-whuppon last night
  10. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUCKEYES ARE 2-0!!!!!
  11. THG hits # 731 BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  12. Yeah, the improved eyesight is key. You can see the pitch better, and with the added muscle, you can wait a little longer, allowing you to see it even better. This is what allowed THG to go yard 73 times in 2001, while still getting all those walks
  13. Hoffman might get the record this year. Same w/ Biggio. The Big Unit will probably have to go into 2008 to get 300. Sheff will probably also have to go into 2008 to get 500. BTW - Big Frank is now at 481
  14. The Braves run of division titles will likely offically end this weekend. Their elimination number is 3
  15. Oakland would make sense being across the bay, and w/ Canseco, HGH, and McGwire all doing steriods during their time there, you know. But Big Frank will likely be back next year as their DH. Angels make good sense, too, since LA is relativly close to SF
  16. Wow. She gets lucky once. I still think she juiced in Sydney
  17. WHAT IS SO FUNNY ABOUT IT!? IT WAS IN THE PAPERS!! PLUS MY BROTHER IS A CUBS FAN, AND HE WAS ALWAYS b****ING ABOUT NIEFI AND THIS!! GEEZ!!
  18. That must really suck for him. Will he get playoff shares from the Tigers if they're in??
  19. Yes. You can DL someone to make room for a September call-up. I remember in 2004, it was in the papers, the Cubs put Ramon Martinez on the DL so Niefi Perez could be on the playoff roster.
  20. Could he file a grievence against the Tigers for this?
