I f***ing hate it. My dad would watch the re-runs at 7 AM, and one day my brother was watching with him. My dad always watches it in spanish. So when a goal was scored and the broadcasters went GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! my brother yelled GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!! f***ing woke me up.

The Cubs would never trade him to the Sox. And if they did, they'd demand an arm or a leg, and then when he is a FA (after 2007), it'll cost an arm or a leg to keep the guy. Forget it. There are guys on the market who are just as good who won't cost as much. And he's not one of Ozzie's "friends"

Aside from the tarp that clobbered Vince Coleman, the Cardinals have had relativly good luck. I bet they win w/o him. They have a competant manager who does his homework and will find a way to apadt. Yes, you won't replace a Pujols/Derrek Lee type player, but you find a way to adapt w/o them. Go to being more of a scrap team, like the 2003 Marlins, where they didn't have any "major" power, and the power they did have stepped up when Lowell went down.

I bet even if Pujols AND Rolen are on the DL at the SAME time, and the Cardinals continue to win, the Cubs still extend Dusty.

I don't think there's anything you can do. People will find ways to get around it. I remember last year near the end, some Cubs fan found a bug in the system, posted it on the Cubs MLB board and that huge surge allowed Lee to overtake Pujols.
