So long as the Pistons don't win the title, I'm happy. I also don't want the Spurs in the finals, but I'd root for them over the Pistons. I'm just tired of seeing the Spurs win. I want to see someone else.

I'm actually glad that they decided last year to do the home and away team broadcasts for the Cubs-Sox games. It was nice before I got satalite b/c I could see all 3 games on TV, but it's even better now.,

Couldn't they decide after viewing tape he should be suspended and was worthy of an ejection, the way they can in the NBA deciding whether a foul warrents a technical or not, or if someones actions are worthy of flagerant foul points, etc.?

To me, ignoring the critics is. If you can get people to read your stuff, I'd say that's pretty good, regardless of whether they agree with you or not. And to do it on a regular basis for 15 years, as Mariotti has done, that's even better.

No. I admire his style. He speaks his mind to the fullest, which is always flip-flopping, and he ignores critics. You know poeple have been giving him hell for 15 years and he hasn't backed down. That's why I admire him. I don't admire the content of his work, however, I admire his style, one I want to emulate

Why Hawk even bothers to read Moronotti is beside me. They should just slug it out. I'm one of the few people here who likes Mariotti more than Hawk. Mariotti's style is actually pretty nice, and the one I want to emualte, just the content is bad. Hawk is just very annoying on the air.

SP's aren't even really suspended for a start. They're just pushed a day back. If MLB really wants starters to miss a start, they should give the pitcher 9: He makes his start, games 1-4 are his 4 days off, gamees 5 is his start, 6-9 are the 4 games b/t his next start.

Lee is a few weeks away. I'm sure Barrett will get a game or 2 cut, and if that happens, the player can chose when to serve, therefore allowing him to play until Lee returns. Even if he doesn't appeal, he can chose when to serve as well. Only when you lose the appeal do you have to serve right away.

They take him off 5 games before his cast is to be removed, and then re-DL him before his rehab, since's going to need at least 2 weeks.

So? They're going to lose a roster spot when Barrett is suspended. I would think Barrett would at least appeal his suspension so he can play until Lee returns

I haven't read anything on mlb or espn.com And if Lee is suspended, the Cubs will simply just de-activate him early. I didn't know about that rule, but it is stupid. It's like the NBA where the bench players can't leave.

How about MLB radio or extra innings or a proxy

If the NHL ever wants to get interest for hockey in the nations 3rd-largest market, they should give Chicago a 2nd franchise. I mean, WTF is w/ New York having 3??
