This is a tangent, but let me ride for a while -- I'm in Atlanta, and when the Falcons had new ownership, the first thing they did was mark down season tickets to $100 ($10 a game) for upper-deck seats. After that, getting people in the door, they improved the product on the field (Vick didn't hurt). Look what happened in Toronto when they had the $1 tickets during the SARS scare.
You'd think that having 50K at $1 a pop would beat the heck out of 12K at full price.
