Since we're about halfway through the season, I thought it would be fun to challenge the uber posters here. List the top Sox prospects by position. Try to list a couple of sleepers as well.

If Paul's lucky he could be one of those guys who hangs on as a backup for a decade. He has a bit of speed, which should help his chances.

And with Ramirez tanking, the Pirates need a 3B. We already have our 3B of the future in Schnur.

I'd love the opportunity to square off with the Mariners in the playoffs. After all, that would mean that we were IN the playoffs.

With Reed moving up, is Chad Durham done? I thought he was having a decent season.

Valentin's time as a quality player is over. Let's move him if we can. I doubt the Cubs will take him, since they're so hot for Lowell.

Colon gives us innings in a way that no one else in this staff does. If we trade him, that's an admission that we're not looking for the playoffs this year. The only reason we have any bit of a chance to make the playoffs is our crappy division. A long-term deal would be somewhat risky, and since we don't give pitchers long-term deals, it's not happening.

We need this sweep to get some serious momentum. If the Twins lose we'd be only 3.5 games out, despite being mediocre at best.

Halladay has been extremely hot of late. There will be strong sentiment to let Moyer start since he'd be in his first A-S game and he's pitching for the best team in the AL. If Loaiza's 12-2 at the break it will be hard to deny him the start.
