Why not Rex? Because of our bullpen situation or his own relative lack of talent? I can see this guy getting called up although not necessarily in front of an Almonte or Ginter.
Yan should move up, because the move from high-A to AA is one of the toughest and it's time to see if he's a real prospect. Webster should stay in low A, maybe get a taste of high-A later in the year.
It's our right as host city to have as many all-stars as we can get. Remember how Seattle almost voted in David Bell when he was batting something like .260?
Not well, I'd guess. His OBP is great, otherwise, not so good. He's been on base three times without scoring at least four times this year. You can't blame him for that.
Nothing short of a WS championship will satisfy most of the Manuel bashers.
KW and Manuel ultimately will be judged for this year's performance, because if the team doesn't make the playoffs they'll both be looking for work. At least Manuel will.
While Malone struggles, other guys pass him by. He may be one of those talents who has to get into another organization before he finds his control.
As it is, all of his rookie cards that I own are worth less than toilet paper.
It's just so much fun to see the Twinks struggle. Maybe it has something to do with everyone giving them way too much love before the season started.
Forget America's team. Find your own team.
I liked that we were one of the top teams in least runs allowed, but when looking at our runs scored I see why we need to be so stingy.
Kong and Frank need to fully wake up. That is all.
JM's not a fiery, yell-at-you type manager. Who do you guys want, Larry Bowa? If we were 9-12, I'd be all over the fire Jerry bandwagon. Jeez, give the guy a couple of months.
