  1. Not sure if it was posted but... So those who want Lavine might be SOL. I'm also not that big on Lavine either....Sure his athleticism is nice, but how many ridiculous athletes did the Spurs have?? And ya, looking at his game logs he was awful most of time after conference play started.
  2. QUOTE (sammy esposito @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 01:38 PM) Last year some one made up a list of draft signings I plus others would love to see who of our 2014 draftees is signed and unsigned and for what $. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...t=0&start=0
  3. Ya, Harden wouldn't go but Parsons in a sign and trade would be most likely and I still don't think the Bulls could top Parsons/Lin+. EDIT, didn't see the Simmons idea....
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:14 AM) f*** YOU GARPAX. f*** YOU. I've been optimistic this whole time, but I'm starting to get a little worried....
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 10:06 AM) Wow...that's a terrible deal and it's unimaginable how the Bulls couldn't top it. Ya this is a deal that I go back to and really hate as a Bulls fan if they don't manage to get Melo/Love/James/Bosh/Parsons.
  6. That's all??? Fournier is better than Snell but you'd think Snell/19 might have got it done.....Wouldn't have been against Butler/19 either. That's a bad deal for the Magic IMO.
  7. Not sure there's many a mangers in baseball that would have made the teams he's had any better. Would a better manager really make this bullpen better? If we're firing Robin, we're firing Coop as well....I can't imagine Coop, being the loudmouth New Yorker he is, not having a big say in how the bullpen is run. If he thinks it's a bad move I just can't see him sitting back and not saying it's dumb.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 09:08 AM) Mock drafts, made by individuals, just like his opinion. Fair enough.
  9. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 09:01 AM) It'd be an awful pick. He won't be able to score in the NBA. Then why do some drafts even have him in the high 20s?
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 26, 2014 -> 08:31 AM) Haven't agreed with you much in this thread but I will be super pissed if we draft Adams. Meh, it wouldn't be the worst pick at 19. Looking at a few different drafts if they go SG with the 2nd pick it probably comes down to Adams, Hairston, and Young. Adams was the most efficient of those scorers, and he's got great length (6'5" w/ 6'10 reach, Oladipo had a 6'9" reach).....I'm not sure how much stock to put into college PER, but his 28.7 ranks 5th in the draft class.
  11. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 09:54 PM) If we got Parsons and Affalo in that scenario, we'd win the east. Mainly because the East would be horrible sans Lebron. Still think Lebron stays in Miami, but I could def see Melo going to Houston over the Bulls. But ya, Rose-Afflalo-Parsons-Taj-Noah with Mirotic and Butler coming off the bench would be fantastic. Or Rose-Butler-Parsons-Love-Noah would be even sexier. Any idea what Parsons is gonna fetch $$ wise... Dude is a legit budding star IMO....
  12. Call me crazy, but I'm starting to get a hard on for Chandler Parsons.....And not because he's a handsome man. Bulls need a guy who can create his shot right?? Dat pump fake tho.
  13. Clearing space for Melo/LBJ....Man, I think Harden/Howard is a little more appealing than Rose/Noah...Would make Parson available though.
  14. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 09:04 PM) That last pitch was a major league fastball at least. Is this Sox reliever a real prospect? Guerra is a former big league closer...
  15. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 07:42 PM) Has De Aza's BAVG gone up .050 this month? It sure has, people don't realize just how good he's been this month..... 51 points to be exact.
  16. More I think about it the more I'd absolutely love Chandler Parsons. Still would of course rather have Melo/Love/James, but from a financial standpoint a Parsons/Afflalo combo would be fantastic.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 04:54 PM) Scott Cacciola ‏@ScottCacciola 58m Tyson Chandler is/was one of Carmelo Anthony's favorite teammates, so this will be interesting. And the Mavs are one of the teams Melo is going to visit....Very interesting, though I'm not sure where this deal sets the Mavs up financially. I assume they still plan on resigning Dirk.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 04:16 PM) Sources: Carmelo Anthony will visit Houston, Dallas and Chicago once teams are allowed to meet with free agents on July 1 If he goes to Houston I'd be all over Parsons and hope they could still add Love or Afflalo. Rose-Butler-Parsons-Love-Noah or Rose-Afflalo-Parsons-Taj-Noah. I'd have Parson right up there in the Afflalo discussion as plan C....He's a restricted FA btw...Probably gets resigned if Houston misses on Melo/James
  19. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 03:35 PM) Lesnar and Cena on Summerslam poster. Not surprising, but have these been wrong before? Seems to me like they have.
  20. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 03:20 PM) If you believe Chad Ford's sources, he's going to be a Warrior. The deal is essentially done. Love for Lee/Thompson has been agreed to. They're haggling over add-ons to the deal, not the major pieces. There's a chance someone acts dumb and changes their mind, but they're like 80% there. Where are you seeing this? I see where he says it'd be a great fit, and that a Curry/Love combo would put them in the running for Lebron, nut nothing about a deal being essentially done.
  21. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 01:51 PM) The problem is...if they're looking to trade those picks, the team acquiring them may want two domestic first rounders, and if they draft a foreign player it could prevent them from making a move this year. Could be a good point....I have a feeling the Bulls and Minny/Magic/NY have already discussed these sort of things.
  22. I wouldn't hate this one bit if it means cap room for a star.....GIMME ALL DA STRETCH 4S! From scouting videos he looks like he might be more athletic and have a better inside game than Mirotic.
  23. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 25, 2014 -> 12:16 PM) Lavine won't drop that far. And no thanks on Payne. Just not an NBA player IMO. At best he's a bench guy. Too many other guys with legit potential. If Lavine doesn't fall that far I'd be more than happy with Hairston or Adams. What makes you say Payne isn't an NBA player? He looks like a poor mans Chris Bosh to me. If they don't bring over or trade Mirotic he'd be a bench player.
