  1. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Aug 31, 2012 -> 08:26 PM) Worthless at the plate. Lol didn't he JUST have a pretty good series??? And its not like the last 2 balls he hit weren't hit hard or anything.
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 31, 2012 -> 07:41 PM) You still don't lazily throw the ball in like that. I see it all the time.
  3. Wise was "deaked" (sp?)...no one in the stadium thought Cabrera was gonna tag.
  4. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Aug 31, 2012 -> 07:33 PM) How many more chances are you gonna get? Well ya got the 6th...7th...8th...and 9th inning so 4
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 31, 2012 -> 07:25 PM) I wonder what the winning probability of teams that have the bases loaded with no outs and don't score in any given game? They did score on the HBP, but I mean...but it can't be very high. Maybe 15% Considering there are 8 other innings a game, I wouldnt say that low.
  6. There are 5 more innings fellas sit back RELAX and strap it down.
  7. Its 2 runs guys relax!! Like the meme/picture I posted Fister got 5 runs last game and still ended up losing.....relax
  8. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Aug 31, 2012 -> 03:07 PM) Was that 7 earned runs? That it was! Lets one up the Orioles and score 8 earned against this schmuck....Lets send him back to the DL too, go straight for the jugular!
  9. I've never made one of these and I'm feelin lucky. Battle for first in the Central starts here, lets blow em up like the whole city of Detroit should be. Today we take down this scumbag VS Doug Fister v. Jake f***in Peavy
  10. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 03:56 PM) http://twitpic.com/and8q7 Somebody leaked the Phillies schedule for next year. Sox go there next July 12-14 right before the All-Star Break. Booo, there's baseball on July 12th, my birthday, and its not in chicago =( Wonder how much Phillies tickets are
  11. QUOTE (Reddy @ Aug 29, 2012 -> 02:36 PM) yeah man, coaching's free, group is free. we're gonna be starting on the 10th, that'll give you some time to really get committed this time. I'm not gonna let you slack! This thing is the workouts AND nutrition. So I'll work with you to get that right. like my team fan page on facebook, then I'll friend you and we can start chatting about specifics and I'll add you to the group. Sound good? www.facebook.com/TeamReddy Perfect that'll give me some time to quit smoking (if things go as planned that will be after this pack)...And hopefully I start work by then so I can get my diet and nutrients right.
  12. What did Trouts and Harpers routes to the Bigs look like?? Itd be awesome to see Hawk Jr(sorry, had to) take about that same route. Those 2 have showed if you got it you got it no matter how young you are.
  13. QUOTE (Reddy @ Aug 29, 2012 -> 09:15 AM) i know we've had our differences, but my clients are losing 30, 40, 50 pounds and sticking with it. i have a bunch who are half-way through their second rounds, eating healthier and loving their new selves. I know you're a coach, so i wouldn't make any money off you, but if you wanna join one of my challenge groups to keep yourself motivated, I'd be more than happy to have you. Scott's lost over 40 pounds Josh's lost about the same Get on board man! You were partially right in our differences, I was wrong in thinking people would wanna buy fitness stuff from a fatty....If I made the money to stick with it maybe things would be different now. But you were right so its all good man. I'm not a coach anymore but if its free of charge to me I'd love to join a challenge group to stay committed..
  14. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 03:37 PM) ^ omg, your avatar is hilarious dude This...Mad props on the Human Tornado avi....I believe I have that whole show on DVD, looks like chuck tizzle right? PWG??
  15. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 09:08 PM) What the f***? Ya I guess that doesn't make too much sense...I don't know how much influence an assistant coach/coaching staff has on a players decision on where to go but it certainly wont hurt to have a well liked guy like Scal on the staff.
  16. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 03:06 PM) Trading my xbox for a a real nice treadmill, and buying 120 pounds of weights for 20 bucks! (In a hawk voice) I loveee Craigslist! That never happened...until now, finally made a barter deal for a treadmill.....What should be a good goal for me, miles or calorie wise on the treadmill. I'm up to 295 again (260 a few months ago). Everyday thing? I plan to restart p90x too.
  17. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 05:20 PM) Very nice. I like that ad too. that happened Awesome, love the move. Scal knows how to win. Everyone loves him so I bet it ends up being a plus when bringing in new talent.
  18. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 03:43 PM) Then I think you are missing the point of play-by-play. But that's obviously subjective, it is just my view that PBP is an essential part of making it work. Not because you can't tell what is going on, but because when done well, it adds color and emphasis - almost like the soundtrack to a movie, but more direct. That said, I'd be happy if Hawk was just good at one or the other - PBP or analysis. I don't find him to be good at either. Stone is at least good at one of them. I'd rather be entertained then hear what I'm seeing.
  19. Play by play in baseball is overrated. If youre watching the game you don't need play by play, baseballs a simple game.
  20. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Aug 28, 2012 -> 03:17 PM) I too cannot imagine the Sox without Hawk one day. But that says nothing about his quality, just his longevity. It has to be said -- his inability to be open to new developments in baseball just absolutely hurt how seriously we can take him. His allergy to statistics (of almost any sort) and the fact he almost never acknowledges PED's influence on the game, under any context EVER, indicates that he'd rather live in his own fantasy world forever than get with the times and provide the information we need as viewers. He should want to be a better announcer, instead of settling for being The Hawk, year-in, year-out. I actually do like his sayings and HR call, which are what more people probably dislike than anything I listed What sort of statistics do you want to hear him talk about?? And why should we care about PEDs if none of our players are using them....Thats for ESPN to overkill. I'm glad he doesn't bring it up. What does he he need to do to be a better announcer?
  21. I love his predictability as well, as silly as that may sound...I love watching a game and saying what he's about to say before he says it, it's rather enjoyable to me, never gets old. When he's gone I'm gonna really miss that.
  22. I couldn't imagine a game without Hawk, I absolutely love his style of broadcasting. I'll never understand whats wrong with him being a homer, I mean he is a White Sox broadcaster isn't he? I believe a White Sox broadcaster should, you know, root for the White Sox....He's an all time great in my book, no questions asked.
  23. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 27, 2012 -> 08:57 PM) The Kane anger management segment was fantasticm I concur.
