  1. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 05:55 PM) That is just not achievable. Humans make mistakes. Hell, it could even be as easy as misreading a test result. An appeal allows a dedicated and thorough review before any judgement is passed down. I don't know what all goes into such an appeal process but it probably shouldn't take 2 weeks IMO.
  2. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 05:50 PM) Because EVERYONE has the right to appeal, and they absolutely should. Tests can be mishandled, contaminated, etc. etc. If you take away the right of appeal, you take away any ounce of justice left. Yea, I guess I can see that. They should make it a fail free system then.
  3. I find it strange that it would take weeks after the failed test to suspend them. You'd think once they found out he failed then the next game he should be out, why let a known PEDer go out there for another 2 weeks, esp. in the heat of a pennant race, before discipline? If its a sound testing system then he should be gone already.
  4. If this were true there's no way it wouldn't be leaked by a real source by now. (I'm sure something along those lines have been said many times)...
  5. Lol I love reading the Thornton comments after he gets out of inning with no harm done....silly soxtalkers
  6. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 10:16 AM) one good thing to see last night, Viciedo was crushing the ball Of course he was, I just dropped him on my fantasy team....Every time I drop a Sox player they end up getting on a role...I think I'm gonna drop Dunn (and Lexi when Tulo comes back) to see if I can get a hot streak outta him! Lets get some payback today!!
  7. First "negative" post in months...I think it's time to pull the plug on Q(Till the end of the season anyway). Its gonna be nice to get Gavin back, and I feel more comfortable with Axe and/or Santiago in the rotation right now...Sale-Peavy-Floyd-Liriano-Santiago and Axe if they wanna move to a 6 man is their best bet down the stretch.
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 4, 2012 -> 07:31 PM) If the Sox somehow win the division and Detroit misses the playoffs, would Leyland be fired? Somehow?
  9. Wow, tickets on stubhub are goin as low as 50 cents for tomorrows game.
  10. QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 4, 2012 -> 04:07 PM) Scott Diamond has 14 quality starts out of 21, but was bad last time out vs Seattle, and was ejected and suspended the time before that. He's really solid at home, on the road??? not so much.
  11. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 4, 2012 -> 02:14 PM) ...and now I need to change my plan for the next one. Dogma it is. PLZ Q win it for Q so I can see the Dogma script! I dont watch a lot of movies but Dogma is one I've seen multiple times.
  12. Bulls still in on Redd and now have interest in Josh Childress.
  13. If I had to make a starting 5 I'd say... Bob Marley Jim Morrison Jimmy Hendrix Freddie Mercury Kurt Cobain
  14. If someone can find me a Josh Abercrombie GIF of him stroking his stashe I'll buy you a a beer..somehow, somewhere, someway....props to anyone who actually knows what im talking about.
  15. One can not underestimate the power of the stashe.
  16. Matts gave up a grand total of 3 runs in 10 games last month...Today was his first action in Sept
  17. I'm joining in on the rally stash right meow...as I'm watching
  18. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 3, 2012 -> 09:25 PM) Baseball is full of bullpen guys with a 3 era. Wonder if those other teams b**** as much as some of the guys on here...youre not gonna have a team full of studs in the pen. Love the Rally Staches, glad Myers joined in.
  19. Way to go Matt. You guys expect far too much outta bullpen guys. Jesse has a sub 3 ERA and Matts 3.50 is respectable as well
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 3, 2012 -> 08:21 PM) http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/batting/_/pos.../OPS/order/true Beckham's ahead of Carroll, Ackley and Weeks (demoted) in OPS out of the top 20 qualified. Behind "All Star" Darwin Barney. Now at .648, .700 would be much better, .725 a dream. Give me production, thats what I look at. Runs scored and Runs driven in, thats what wins ball games right, runs??
  21. Gordos 13 HRs put him in 10th amung everyday 2B, his 51 RBI 11th, and his 53 runs are 16th....For your 9 hole hitter with the type of D he gives us you can certainly do worse. Santiagos lookin pretty good so far...It's gonna be really interesting to see what the rotation looks like next year.
