Evan Rodriguez looking like a pretty good blocker...I was skeptical about the Clutts trade because I thought he was gonna be needed

Which loss was most annoying/agonizing this year?
2nd_city_saint787 replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Sports is all Detroit has left, it brings them together.... Why must you bring up a negative thread after a big win and a Detroit loss?? Haven't looked around the board yet today but are people being to positive or something?? Eff the past we have a 2 game lead, Detroits going against one of the hottest pitchers in baseball, and I feel good about Santiago going for us on the bump. A 3 game lead is very possible going into a series at home against a Tigers team thats not very good on the road. How about we just sit back relax and strap it down folk. There's no point in looking in the past when the future is far more important right now....... BTW Caulfield, with that disney channel chick as your avi and the 12 in you name I always imagine you as a 12 year old boy lol just sayin -
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 11:10 PM) 5-9 now.... 7-7 puts us 4 games up over the Tigers, 9-5 we'd be 6 games up As someone else mentioned, we probably wouldn't have beaten up on the Yankees, Rangers, Angels, etc. Not necessarily, Tigers coulda won those games. Tigers haven't been that great against KC either right??

That Trout fellow is something else.

lol at Detroits D 6-1 now. dont know if it's allowed or not but http://www.vipboxsports.eu/watch/72080/1/l...eam-online.html theres a link to the game

Ova! A Ws a W...If Danks caught that no one would be bitcjin about Addy...I do think it may be time to explore another option though...Jesse Crain would be my guy

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 12:13 PM) Occasionally I remember whose on the bulls next year and start to tear up. Tear up?? I mean theyre not BAD players.
-
Can they just do it by committee?? I know it's not the attractive thing to do but how about giving Jones (or Veal) LHH and Crain RHH Its September so they should have plenty of arms in the pen to get by doing this.

Awesome...I need someone to break the tie on my RGIII vs Peyton question, I believe it was tie. I'm leaning towards RGIII just for the rushing (25 passing yards= 1 point/10 rushing yds= 1point) and the match up (Gonna have to pass a lot facing the Saints)...but then in 3 hours of having the NFL Network on I heard 1 expert pick Peyton to be MVP and 2 others say he's certainly a candidate.

QUOTE (elamins @ Sep 6, 2012 -> 06:34 PM) My buddy actually does run an indy fed that is starting back up in a couple weeks. They shut shows down a while back so they could get a new venue. I also have a couple friends who wrestle for the indy fed POWW. Is your friend Ian Rotten? lol. Ian ran the IWA MS company (the fed that gave Punk his first big break) that I followed has repeatedly opened and closed due to money issues. They keep trying to make a comeback but keep failing. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 6, 2012 -> 12:05 PM) Smart of him. How so? Because he wouldn't be able to potentially play if he were to coach?

Scal turned down the coaching job with the Bulls, gonna be a broadcaster for Boston....damn

QUOTE (The Critic @ Sep 6, 2012 -> 11:25 AM) Not really, although I had one friend who worked for Windy City Wrestling a long time ago and another friend tried to start his own indy fed. I actually managed him one time in Wisconsin - did my very best Bobby Heenan imitation, including his "cower in the corner and try to shake the guy's hand" routine, took a noggin-knocker with my "protege" and flopped out of the ring onto the concrete floor. I had fun, and a couple weeks later actually got recognized in a mall up there and SIGNED AN AUTOGRAPH for a little kid!!!! Lol awesome story...Windy City, I believe, was the first fed I ever saw, around 13 years ago id say...King Kong Bundy and Koko B. Ware were actually there. It may have been Ringside Wrestling I get those 2 mixed up a lot....I know one of them was run by Rex Hart, who now runs the promotion I'm gonna try to catch a break in, and the other one is the one I saw first. I haven't been to an Indy show in over a year now and I miss it, the only quality fed out there that comes to the Chicago area is ROH and they only come around 2 or 3 times a year....Gone are the days where I can see IWA MS once or twice a month which is a huge bummer for me....Its ridiculous how much better Indy wrestling is compared to the WWE and IMO its not even up for debate. -

QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Sep 6, 2012 -> 11:52 AM) There are a lot of guys using. It's millions of dollars to their benefit to do it in their mid to late 30s. When you get that old, you don't risk that much getting caught, because you are already on the downside. We can't be this naive about our own guys. If you see it happening league wide, you have to accept that you also have rooted for PED-users in the past (as well as probably now). It's way too self-assuring to just assume the White Sox are that one drug-free team. Theres been what 2 people busted this year?? 3 If you count Braun?? I think youre over blowing it. Glad the rumors are false...WSI should be ashamed of themselves if they pulled a rumor off a Detroit message board. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 07:36 PM) Dont know rules, RG3 might get you more rushing yards and have a shot at a rushing TD. Manning likely throws for more yards, TD, and fewer INT, unless thy get out to a big lead early. Standard rules. The rushing yards is whats made this even debatable for me...I have Ryan Matthews so I may need to throw a backup in (Though one of my backups went in the 2nd round of the flapship mock draft, Trent Richardson) so the rushing yards would be a plus. So that coupled with me hearing RGIII is gonna have a big game against NOLA multiple times on the NFL network is what brought up the question. -

Since you guys are pros or somethin..who should I start week 1 RGIII or P. Manning? I'm torn. I keep hearing experts say RGIII is gonna have a big game against the Saints. At the same time I know Ryan Clarks not playing in the Steelers game. This is a money league other wise I wouldnt care to ask -
