  1. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 02:29 PM) DWise!! Feel sorry for all who stopped watching after 3. f*ck them...idiots
  2. I'll take it lol...you guys speak as though the games over lol I hate you all
  3. Hey Q, stay lights out when its light out! Keep that ERA under 2 in day games and notch yourself another W.
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 16, 2012 -> 07:27 PM) I'd expect under 20,000 for the make up game, right? Prolly 10-15,000? Hopefully like caufield said the Sox can relax and win one. Even if we lose as I expect, we're still one up with no more games left vs. the Tigers. Ye have little faith...want a cookie? Qs already beat them once, and he has a 1.81 era in day games. I dont EXPECT a win, but I certainly dont expect a loss and no Sox fan should. I know youre just tempering your expectations but c'mon man.
  5. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Aug 21, 2012 -> 03:37 PM) If I were booking, Id make it Heyman, and "his guys" Brock and Punk....then bring up more "Heyman guys" like Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and whatever Chris Hero is calling himself now. Build towards some kind of Survivor Series Heyman vs the WWE type match for control of the WWE. Then at some point after Heyman wins control, the group disbands and we get awesome Rollins vs Ambrose and Punk vs Hero fueds! Man do I wish I had full control of the WWE... Still hoping this happens...I didnt realize I posted that before Heyman aligned with Punk. I'm right so far!
  6. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 16, 2012 -> 11:51 PM) I liked it, it gave him a good heel win. The more he starts winning dirty, the better off his heel turn looks. And bringing in Heyman reinforces that. Lots of ground to be covered leading up to mania This. I was pissed at first, "Are you kidding me? Its over on a terribly delivered suplex?!" then after it played out I liked it "Nice! That s***y suplex was on purpose!!" QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 12:03 AM) The thing is, he won't commit completely to being a heel character. He commits to just trying to be a badass. If he were smart, he wouldn't say s*** like "Stop saying I sold out." And he also would've been pompous enough to invent his own WWE Championship belt like he said he would. He should also try to cheat at all costs. There's no question he's a full blown heel right now but I think we're just at the tip of the iceberg here as far as his badassness goes. I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see a new belt tomorrow, and things get real heated tomorrow.
  7. Fancy, I like. Q has been lights out when it's light out. 1.81 ERA in 8 games, 6 starts
  8. The sox website have Q listed to start tomorrow...thats not the case right??
  9. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Sep 16, 2012 -> 02:26 PM) Peterson - 5 Bradshaw - 1 Fitzgerald - 0 Bowe - 4 :headbang :headbang Bowe came back for a really good game. I benched him in my money league to put in Jeffery...smh a 21 point swing there...Being a homer burned me there. Luckily I kept him in in the talkbears league, which has 101 points before Stafford and Roddy White played with Malcolm Floyd and Steven Jackson playing right now...Going against Eli so I need every point I can get, my opponents got 91 with all his WRs, Vernon Davis, and Matt Prater still to go.
  10. Reeds def in the bottom 5 among closers as much as it pains me to say that. Ahead of the likes of Frank Fransisco, Heath Bell and maybe John Axford. He's a rookie though, he'll get better in the future.
  11. Welcome back to Chicago Kahlil Bell...not a good sign, but a good sign...see what i did there?
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 15, 2012 -> 09:42 AM) Mark Gonzales ‏@MDGonzales Sale’s victory was his 11th after a Sox loss, tying R.A. Dickey for the most wins following a team defeat in 2012 From Sox notes: Sale’s 17 wins in his 1st 23 decisions is the best start by a Chicago LHP since Juan Pizaro also went 17-6 in 1964 (Elias) Really hope Tampa misses the playoffs and our Sox make it...If thats the case I thing Sale should win the CY.
  13. I haz one! I went to one the first day they did.
  14. Missed the game to watch some rugby, good to come home and see a W put on the board!
  15. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 14, 2012 -> 11:34 PM) Thanks to Sale for getting the Sox back on track. I think it's pretty obvious saving Sale for Monday woulda been dumb. This is just what the Sox needed tonight. Disagreed but whatever
  16. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Sep 14, 2012 -> 03:04 PM) I'm pretty sure that most of the hardcore White Sox fan base doesn't even believe in this team; just waiting for the collapse. False. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 14, 2012 -> 03:09 PM) If the Cubs were a game up in the division at this point ... wow. Wouldn't it be crazy? No, what are you expecting?? A parade?? Riots??
  17. What ever happened to Steve Slaton?...He was great his rookie year and then kinda fell off the map.
  18. Man this is pretty frustrating...but at the same time, its not over.
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 13, 2012 -> 08:25 PM) Who cares? Does it really matter who we pitch against them? I'd rather pitch Sale against Minnie who he will be favored to beat at least. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 13, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) Yes we dodged a bullet. We would have lost tonight. Now at least we have a chance of a different scenario happening. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 13, 2012 -> 08:39 PM) I can't believe you are concerned with individual matchups vs. Det. They don't matter. It's best we don't play Detroit for a few days at least. See if we can build the lead up again. We weren't going to suddenly beat Verlander tonight. Now if Sale can do what's expected of him, beat Minnie, and Cleveland takes care of Detroit, we could be cooking again. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 13, 2012 -> 08:53 PM) I'm definitely penciling those in as 3 losses, that's for sure. I figure we have four guaranteed losses the rest of the way. We have to play red-hot baseball in the other games to be in the postseason. HES BACKKKKK....LOL you were tolerable for awhile there greg, I was starting to like you man...then you drop all this on us. There is (probably) not a better pitcher in baseball at home than Chris Sale. Verlander is no bueno on the road. I dont give a single f*ck about momentum. I wanted Justin vs Sale...bad...I'd wet myself if both teams pushed em back.
  20. if i ever get a damn job im getting a Melton jersey, i was a DT in high school, hes #69, and hes a bad ass...and my head just exploded
  21. noob refs f***in s*** up again...If they lose by 3 imma rage....BTW I'm fairly intoxicated already
  22. Shea has looked impressive...Lining up Peppers next to him at DT is genius! A guy with his speed going 1 on 1 is gonna cause a lot of ruckus all season long. Shea-Peppers-Melton-Idonije is sexy as f*** Shea lined up inside?? not a fan.
