  1. I hope it's Link. They can use Richard or Carrasco for long relief.
  2. There is some good news, Cards just took the lead.
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Apr 24, 2009 -> 09:02 PM) Tomorrow won't be much easier. Romero is a stud. He's on the DL. Were facing Brian Burres who is awful.
  4. Liriano getting knocked around
  5. The Indians just got completely screwed on a home run call.
  6. Baseball will never work in Vegas. Florida sports fans suck, but I still think that both clubs could get decent fan support if they had better stadiums.
  7. Swisher had a bad year last season, but he's a career.246/.356/.460 hitter and I always thought he would have a bounce back season. It's a joke that the Sox gave him away for nothing.
  8. That's awful news, Kalas was awesome. At least he got to see the Phillies win the series last year.
  9. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Apr 12, 2009 -> 04:32 PM) 2 Thunderbirds and a Night Train are not good for the next morning. LOL, one night train isn't good for the next morning! I couldn't imagine drinking that much bumwine.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 11, 2009 -> 09:19 PM) Ryan Braun just missed two of the easiest hanging sliders you'll ever see. Fielder missed one on the last pitch of the game too.
  11. You've got to be kidding me
  12. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Apr 9, 2009 -> 04:57 PM) This is funny considering it's coming from a guy who thinks Aaron Harang should be in the Cy Young talks. That wasn't me, I think it was Whitesoxfan101.
  13. Off topic at the moment, but I'm sick of this and had to get it off my chest. I'm f***ing sick of the fact that Carlos Zambrano is considered an ace pitcher, when he's far from it. 2007-3.95 ERA, 1.33 WHIP 2008-3.90 ERA, 1.29 WHIP
  14. When someone crowds the plate as much as CQ does, they're going to get hit a lot. No need to retaliate.
  15. That's awful news, just 22 years old.
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 7, 2009 -> 12:17 AM) Gregg also looked decent enough even though he gave up a run. If the Cubs stay healthy, especially Soriano, they obviously are the class of that division. If they make the playoffs year after year, eventually they are going to strike it rich. Injuries will be key as always but they appear to be the class of that division again. I don't see them making the playoffs year after year. In face I picked the Reds to win the central this year. Cincinnati's young talent is sick, I can see them making the playoffs for the next few years.
  17. QUOTE (T R U @ Apr 8, 2009 -> 12:05 AM) Bah, I don't give a s*** about Joe Crede.. Thanks for 2005, but you aren't a member of the White Sox and that's were my loyalty lies. I could care less what other players do when they move on, I am a fan of the White Sox not a former White Sox player on another team, especially a rival team. I hope Joe sucks it up to be quite honest. Whatever helps the Twins be bad this season, im all for. Agreed
  18. I almost want Wise to do bad so we can get him out of there as soon as possible. At least he probably won't be starting by May 1.

  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 5, 2009 -> 11:31 AM) No, it's from their panel of local "fan experts" that are subscribers to the newspaper...I think the two youngest are 10 and 11, but there are about 30 small "predictions" for the season and their favorite teams...and only one of them was about the White Sox. Well, it's just dumb to have fans write the preview. That's their first mistake.
  21. This is f***ing awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally, the Bears have a legit QB.
  22. Terrible news, although we all knew it was coming. I wish they would go with Getz at leadoff and stick BA in center.
  23. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Mar 29, 2009 -> 03:45 PM) 3 people. 2 nights. 16 40's, 6 boulevard stouts, 4 tall stones, 3 mad dogs, 2 1/5ths argh. good old MD2020
  24. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 27, 2009 -> 12:23 PM) He could just as easily improve in the NBA. Why do people act like you improve more by staying in college then playing in the NBA? There really is no evidence of that at all even for guys who aren't getting a lot of PT early on. Because you don't get better sitting on the bench.
  25. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 26, 2009 -> 03:59 PM) No, you dont. But there is something to the health of guys who throw that heat that early. Who is that in your profile picture?
