  1. Actually, Ohman has been pretty effective lately. He may be a valuable trade piece right now.
  2. It's disturbing that this continues and, no batting stance changes, no choking up a little to make contact, no one seemingly aware of game situations. You cant call what our coaches do, as coaching. There is no instruction thats visible to me. If they are ignoring it, they shouldn't play.
  3. Lifeless, unmotivated, unfocused, and nothing changes.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 02:01 PM) They just need players to play better. For a team that's been so predictably mediocre on offense this year, it's a blessing we're still in the thick of the race. Walker of course should have been fired after 2007, but we know he's here as long as Ozzie is. At this point, the only break us fans could get with this offense is if someone unfortunately has to go on the DL like Teahen or Dunn or Rios or Pierre. I vote for all 4
  5. They have now taken us to July 1 with "it will get better." It's not and it won't.
  6. I'd feel better if I could pee on one of his paychecks
  7. We have no lead-off man or #2 hitter. Put him there and see what happens.
  8. If our GM would have given us some sort of farm system, our GM wouldn't have to claim meat like Rios to fill out a roster.
  9. Ozzie isn't responsible for the lack of talent our farm system provides.
  10. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 01:37 PM) Its become pretty clear that KW wants Dayan up with the club and Ozzie is resisting. Who's running the team? Let Guillen be GM then and get him out of dugout
  11. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 12:36 AM) but man are the stinking twins hot. Can you believe the production they've gotten from all those AAA replacements? We refuse to call up our Triple A replacement
  12. QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:57 PM) Oh, so merely a 97 win seasonal pace. We cant win 97 games-we have no games against the White Sox
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:38 PM) 1-9 against Minny and DET. Otherwise, we're great against our division and in first place, haha. Nothing has changed (except we are worse this year against Detroit)
  14. I went for a walk at lunch and stepped in a pile of Rios
  15. If a Bears coach was dominated by their #1 rival, the Pack, its likely that coach would be fired. Some college coaches get bounced for not beating their chief rivals. Yet our manager wets himself everytime he sees Gardenhire across the field and it has gone on for years. Play them 19 times a year and he cant figure out how to beat even this team, our chief rival, made of Cuddyear and 8 nobodys.
  16. Start putting white paint on the grass with "Drop #1" "Drop #2 etc until left field is painted white
  17. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 27, 2011 -> 08:03 AM) Not sure if it was posted elsewhere, but the Score is reporting that Adam Dunn will be batting 7th tonight. If true, I will give Ozzie some credit. We can't afford to have a black hole in the middle of our lineup. He needs to keep playing everyday to figure his s*** out, but it will be much better for us if he can so near the bottom of the order. I don't see this team winning the division if Dunn can't get on track in the next month or so. The thought of A.J. batting fifth on a regular basis scares the crap out of me and I'm guessing that's what Ozzie will do. How about 10th?
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 24, 2011 -> 12:20 PM) As someone who was excited when the Sox made the waiver claim on Rios, I fully support this thread. Even last year, his ridiculous May overshadowed the fact he really wasn't that good overall. That was the only month he even had an OPS of over .800. Closest thing we have to .800 is Dunn's weight
  19. Did anyone see the fight involving Milledge?
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 19, 2011 -> 01:30 PM) Great. Come on, didn't we get 5 hits with McPhearson in there yesterday? Why change?
