  1. Such a solid player-and a great individual-good job Mark
  2. Sounds like that's why he's there over Big Frank. Being ready to hit-I like it
  3. A real TEAM gutted in the off season. Sharing that with my 80 plus year old mom, who grew up just down the street from Comiskey, was a highlight of my life.
  4. Guillen is overlooking his own agenda. I dont believe anything he says.
  5. I think Rios in left will be fine-he has height with our small fence in LF, and actually hit better once he finally changed that ridiculous batting stance. Unlike Quentin, he's been more durable. I like that OF.
  6. I enjoyed the Mark Buehrle wine I bought about 2 years ago
  7. This and the Red Sox talk will give birth to a whole slew of Miller Lite commercials-imagine Lillibridge telling Adam Dunn to "Man-Up"
  8. DJ was on last night-no indication of this.
  9. Coop-"Players were fed up with a lot of things."
  10. The choke Atlanta pulled off makes him valuable to them.
  11. kW has a big ego, and this is one of his trades that almost worked. Quentin goes only as a last resort
  12. You have to keep Frasor, there will be a loss of innings for the starters without Buehrle and Danks or Floyd
  13. Maybe he can sell hot dogs on the 500 level-the only experience he has.
  14. Give Aparicio his number back-and see ya
  15. QUOTE (balfanman @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 11:34 AM) I don't have anything to back this up, but I can see Kansas City as a dark horse in Buehrles' situation. K.C. is as close to his home as Chicago is, they have more of a "pitchers park" than the Sox do, and with K.C.'s up and coming offense he could pile up some wins with that kind of support. Kansas City could feel that an upgrade to their pitching staff could make them serious contenders next season, and I think that they could be right. I'm sure that Buehrle has noticed this too and if the Sox don't make him a respectable offer I think that K.C. would have a better chance than most other clubs at his services. That's a sound idea, but he has stated that as much as this division has seen him over the years, he'd kind of like to face some new hitters. Going to KC does not accomplish that.
