8/31 GT - SOX vs. Twins - 1:10pm CDT - WGN
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 31, 2011 -> 04:08 PM) THis is one move that made sense. The Bench was empty and PK14 was the tying run at 1st base. Someone had to run for Konerko who could at least have a shot of scoring on a double. Konerko would not have. Stewart was as good of an option as any. Should have sent Dunn out to run and let Stewart bat

8/31 GT - SOX vs. Twins - 1:10pm CDT - WGN
Guillen GAVE them 2 outs by having Rios & Dunn bat in the crucial 9th inning. There is NO excuse for what Guillen did today. How can Florida want this foul-mouthed idiot?

Congratulations to Paul Konerko on acheiving the 2,000 hit hallmark
Paulie-what an example of a warrior. One of the greatest White Sox for all time. I salute your guts, perseverance, and will to get better.

Indians awarded claim on Thome
There's already a history of bringing back players they let go. I say do it and reap the good PR it brings.

Jim Hendry is out as GM
Having a brain cramp--who was our GM when we drafted Alex Fernandez, Frank Thomas and Robin?

No wonder our farm system is in a Shambles
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Aug 18, 2011 -> 09:56 AM) Our inability to invest in the draft and the international signing period has had ripple effects on this organization. The minor leagues are for two purposes. One is for internal candidates to re-stock at positions that turn over due to free agency or age attrition. The other is to be used as value for a trade. Other teams have seen this and have spent accordingly. We have a very high payroll and in large its inflated due to the inability to find replacement candidates from within. Alex Rios would of never been on this team if we could of found a candidate for CF within. Its like a company ignoring the R&D department and getting passed by in the industry due to another competitor finding a cheap and better way to build a widget. Borchard, Anderson, & Sweeney are why Rios is here

AJP to DL w/ fractured wrist
QUOTE (MattZakrowski @ Aug 16, 2011 -> 01:45 PM) It can be worse than noodle arm's. Have you been watching? Throwing has not been impressive

AJP to DL w/ fractured wrist
Our ONLY dependable left handed hitter for the mid-lineup. As lots of players get waived this time of year, under the radar, is anyone aware of any catchers clearing waivers?

A response....
Oney is a coward-his spine is his keyboard. This is not an isolated incident, its a trend of cowardly things he does when his targets are out of range. I laud Mrs. Teahen for her response to this and for calling out this ZERO and for putting a face on his target and classless "attacks"

Ozzie throws Lillibridge under the bus, spares Rios
24,000 with discount tickets for the Yankees? Instead of moaning about attendance, look at why there is no walk-up. Right now, we are supporting the uniform, not those that are in it. I can watch the uniform hanging in my closet, and see the same effort.

7/30- Red Sox vs White Sox
Well, Rios is now the official mascot of this underachieving, emotionless season. And Guillen is gutless

Jackson & Teahen to TOR for Frasor & Stewart (RHP)
Edwin, you made opening day fun in 36 degree weather

Jackson & Teahen to TOR for Frasor & Stewart (RHP)
So, it could be Daniel Hudson, Edwin Jackson and Mark Teahen for George Frasor.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 04:20 PM) I don't know if Viciedo and De Aza will help your team, but I think it's at least worth a shot. They will help just by replacing 2 of the carcasses that are here now
