  1. QUOTE(SnB @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 08:33 PM) We need this one bad, really bad. Vazquez tried to be the stopper today, the offense didn't help him. It's buehrle's turn. Wouldn't want anyone else on the mound for this one!
  2. New day, new game, lets go White Sox!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now we can start that 8 game win streak!!!
  3. QUOTE(Beastly @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 05:29 PM) I believe there are several factors of why we aren't doing well. Ozzie puts people in the wrong spots...why do you put Ozuna in the OF in those conditions? Our bullpen will be able to get guys out, just watch. Right now, they look like zombies. And I like Logan, I just don't think that he and the others are on fire right now. I am under the opinion that the team has little to no chemistry, you can't re-tool a team and expect them to perform already; see the Yankees! I am frustrated no doubt, but lets all remember, it is only April! Yep, I saw the yankees start this way last year and guess what, they made the playoffs. Maybe you should step into the clubhouse and start putting the players in the right spots and get some team chemistry together coach!!!
  4. QUOTE(rcm4833 @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 07:35 PM) I'm sorry but I would much rather have their lineup than ours. I'd rather have Hafner than Thome. maybe you are right, cause ya know, that lineup of thiers won the WS last year.
  5. QUOTE(beautox @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 07:26 PM) people soon forget about the '05 Orioles & Nationals, kids its a Marathon not a race were 2% done with the season, step back from the ledge it'll be ok. 3% but im with ya man, people need to calm down!!
  6. QUOTE(Hanky Panky @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 06:52 PM) I'm sure that this is apparent to everyone: The Cleveland Indians are very good this year. They seem to have so much more confidence than last year. Pronk is a beast, and Casey Blake is a pretty decent hitter too. Jason Johnson pitched well today... I mean it's Jason Johnson. He sucks, or so I thought. I am afraid that we will not be able to catch up to the Indians. Now, something that worries me even more... not being able to catch up to the friggin' Tigers. Chris Shelton is a freaking beast. He's so bestial that he's even the HR leader right now. He just keeps getting extra-base hits too. What are we to do if we come in last place in the Central? How embarassing... we cannot even beat Kansas s***ty right now. I don't know what to do. I guess I'll just go shoot up some more heroin. I need some relief. Opening day was the s***, but since then life has been a downward spiral. Are you f'in kidding me??? I'll take Thome and Konerko over any one of those guys. And because a guy pitched well one game, now we have to worry about him? This crap is getting ridiculous, its been 5 games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't the Royals start 10-0 a few years back, don't we learn s*** from the past. Take it easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. QUOTE(rudylaw @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 06:39 PM) I am with you 100%. I live and die with each game, if the lose I am in a bad mood for quite a while and when they win I feel great. It is a long season and when the dust settles I see the Sox on top. That is why there is Miller Lite also, for nights like tonight!!! , sleep, wake up and watch the Sox kick ass!
  8. So we are 12-5 in our last 17 games!!! I'll take that any day of the week. After reading through all the negativity here today, everyone needs to take a step back and ENJOY the season. KW knows more than anyone on this site about putting together a world series team, so quit doubting him. Boone straight up beat out the competition in ST so yes he deserves a shot up here in the big leagues. Hafner has since hit three more home runs, so let me guess all those pitchers should be sent down as well. Things will not go the Sox way 100% of the time, that is just plain common sense. This list could really go on and on, but just make sure you mark me down as the guy who will enjoy this season and not be so damn worried all the time. I mean hell, the season is 3% over, so is it really time to start to panic????? Finish up strong in KC and on to Detroit to bring them back to life!
  9. QUOTE(trottime @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 12:51 PM) I was very impressed with the Indians' pitching the last two days. True, there were some hit batters, but they seemed to have great location and were able to pitch to spots that their scouts apparently had told them were problems for our hitters. They were pitching outside to Anderson and he had a very difficult time, including striking out twice. Paulie seemed to have a hard time as well. I hope this is not an indication of what the Indians' staff will be like this year. There is no doubt their staff will be good this year. But I trust our guys and the expierience they gained last year, which in my mind will come through in the long run. No worries over here, its April 6th!!!!
  10. QUOTE(rudylaw @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:53 PM) Great 1 for me 1 for my wife. What are you going to sit in? Cool, and in a few months, I can bring a chair for my kid!
  11. QUOTE(rudylaw @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:50 PM) Sounds like a plan do you have chairs, i think we only have two
  12. QUOTE(rudylaw @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 12:14 PM) When I purchased my tickets for the game tomorrow April 4th I also purchased a parking pass at the same time. It is a green pass so I can only park in lots F & L. I was wondering how it worked. What if the lots are full already? Am I out my $17 that I paid for parking? I live in Peoria so it is quite a drive and I am planning at getting to the park at about 11:00 or so, I sure as hell hope they don't tell me to go park at IIT. Just get there aearly, we had no prob yesterday. Then cmon over and find the orange car in Lot F!!!
  13. QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Apr 2, 2006 -> 11:36 AM) It never rained here where I live downtown. Also just checked the radar and it looks as if it is all broken up and went right by downtown. I also do not see any rain in the future. That is music to my ears! I am from the north suburbs and am leaving for the game in 1 hour!
  14. QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 11:25 AM) I will have to settle for the game on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball-HD. 24. QUOTE(rudylaw @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 08:47 AM) "I'm not stupid, and I know the job was mine to lose, but I could still lose it," Anderson said. "You could come here and [stink] and screw around and do something stupid. They could easily find someone else. I love his attitude. He knows that he can not come up here and screw around. Rookie of the Year. Book It! And look out to all the "honeys" in Chicago cause he WILL be screwing around with them!!
