  1. Cowboys now 6-2 & in 1st in the East. Defense did their job tonight, Jenkins looks like a stud out there. The stop on 4th & 1 pretty much sealed the fate for Philly tonight. Romo was efficient, Roy finally got involved, Witten had a good game & Austin came through with another big play. They even threw some wildcat in there. Going into Lambeau next week for a winnable game. 'skins in 2 weeks & Oakland on thanksgiving. There's a good chance this team is 9-2 going into December where they have 4 tough games. But for now, I'll just enjoy this win. *raises roof for the 1st place Cowboys*
  2. QUOTE (G&T @ Nov 8, 2009 -> 01:54 PM) Wow. They just switched NY's coverage from the Bears to the Packers because the game is so bad. I wish they'd do the same here.
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 5, 2009 -> 05:50 PM) way to go jordan. Pretty selfish move to cost your school the contract that supplies all its teams with their athletic gear cause you want to wear your daddys shoes. I'm sure Nike was so concerned whether or not a crappy player on a crappy conference USA team was wearing their shoes. You work for UCF or something? Either that or Marcus Jordan came in & pissed in your cereal this morning...
  4. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Nov 5, 2009 -> 10:17 AM) Brock has mono, no training for a month, so the January date is off. After a run of great health luck, the UFC is getting smacked with it now. But it's rumored that we get Big Nog/Velasquez. That would excite me plenty.
  5. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Nov 5, 2009 -> 12:45 AM) Can i stop stroking now? I'm getting raw. Use more lotion.
  6. You seem to be pretty knowledgeable about that subject.
  7. Vampire death bats are the worst though.
  8. QUOTE (kev211 @ Nov 2, 2009 -> 06:28 PM) I believe I'm gunna go to that game. I'm really thinking we take over that arena. I'm not an ISU basher, but do that many fans really travel that well/care about the team?
  9. Luckily for us, it can only be found in New York.
  10. 66. NHL killed me, although I remembered every NBA one.
  11. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 2, 2009 -> 10:20 AM) just picked up tix for Illinois @ Northwestern game. Its always my favorite game to go to, the little high school gym is usually over half orange, and its on a Saturday night this year. If NW could have some success and get some more fan support, I think that gym could be a big home court advantage for them. Its so small, I'm sure its gotta get pretty loud if packed with all Wildcat fans. I was at the game last year & I'd say it was a fun experience.
  12. Pulling my first all-nighter of the semester...
  13. A few girls I know sent me numerous texts late Thursday night that they had run into Toews, Burish & Eager at a bar. I guess from what I hear they're really cool dudes.
  14. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 1, 2009 -> 09:30 PM) Nice solid win for the Cowboys today, Romo hasn't thrown an INT in 3 games now which is progress. Don't think we'll beat Philly in Philly next, but I'm a lot more confident about it than I was a few weeks ago. This team should get a wild-card spot, but then again, they could have another December meltdown. Maybe I'm just excited, but this is the best Romo has looked in quite some time. If the O-line can stick to picking up the blitz like they have been the last 2 games, the D continues to show up & the special teams do their job...I think they take the game against Philly next week. Agreed on the playoff spot only because outside of Minnesota & New Orleans, there aren't any other teams that have made themselves known in the NFC.
  15. I hate that VDN uses this small lineup near the end of games. Still not sure why he doesn't want Tyrus on the floor during the 4th quarter.
  16. QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Oct 31, 2009 -> 08:44 AM) My favorite of all time would be "It" I am going to watch Orphan and Drag me to hell with the chick tonight. I heard the Orphan was really good. Someone's playing a mean joke on you.
  17. QUOTE (NIUSox @ Oct 31, 2009 -> 09:28 AM) The NHL kinda screwed themselves when they moved away from ESPN, especially nationally. I think this had more to do with the last strike & the fact that it helped people lose interest. Because IIRC, ESPN decided not to renew the contract. They barely cover the sport as it is.
  18. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 31, 2009 -> 12:41 AM) If healthy, Boston might be the best team in the league. Has nothing to do with giving a s*** effort. Has everything to do with one team being considerably better than you are.
  19. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 08:40 PM) LOL. Knight, you're a hater. That woman look good as hell for her age. I thought she was gonna look like Joyce Dewitt or something. +1
  20. Bulls just couldn't stop Boston tonight, they looked sluggish & out of sync. Oh well, it's only game 2 of the season. They'll be okay, it won't be the last blowout loss for the year.
