Capn12

Lol, Merkin really stretching to find anything worthwhile to write about, concerning the Sox. I can't believe this is a real article title on mlb.com: "Thompson hopes to bring veteran leadership, invokes Abreu in return"

What a series, boys! 42 K's in the 3 games Outscored 18-4 in the series. 110 losses is 100% feasible.

How is Trayce Thompson still around an MLB roster? 40 K's in 75 ABs this season

37 Ks for the boys, through 2 games and 6 innings.

Touki's walks are always going to be a problem.

0 for 4, 1 K and not clutch in the 9th when they needed it. Oh, this thread is for only when he does well, maybe?

Oh....we actually DID call up Trayce Thompson as the 26th roster addition.....wow. ?

Cease/Clevinger/Toussaint/Kopech/Scholtens That's a starting rotation for the ages.

Yeah, put the scrubs in. Not like it matters now. Nothing chaps my ass more, than seeing Dunning just beat our ass when we face him.

And there are actually some folks on this board, who still question whether this team will lose 100 games. At this point, it may 110.

68 K's in 160 ABs for Zavala. Legendary hitting skills.

I want so much, for Colas to succeed, but damn if he isn't hard to watch. I'm sure the organization has done fk all to help develop him, but still...

Glad we were acting like we had Cy Young as our available pitching trade piece, and shunned offers that were probably moreso in line with what would be expected.

5 and dive (if we're lucky) Dylan.

Cease looking great so far. Eventually, he'll record an out.

Glad we rushed him back, without any Spring Training build up. Hell of an organization.

So we're just going to play another game tonight, a man down on the roster. Makes sense. Bad team made even worse, by handicapping themselves. Morons.

Seby grades out pretty well defensively, and this team could do with all of the defense it can get, right now. He sucks at hitting, we know that, but I'd rather him catch and at least provide defense, instead of Grandal who provides neither.

Let Lenyn play every day, tell Elvis to GTFO, and let Remi float between 3rd and 2nd, as needed.

Please, lets not pretend there is even the most remote semblance of defensive prowess between Burger and Moncada. I am tired of Moncada, as much as anyone, but there is NO comparing the 2 in defensive ability.....

For the moves that WERE made: Hahn nailed it. I hate to ever give him credit, but I love all of them. You can question the timing on the Burger move, but...otherwise, the returns were good. Look at some of the crap other teams got back in trades. For the moves that WERE NOT made: I'm frustrated. This was the time to admit your (Hahn) build had failed, and you were willing to do what it took to get in position for another. Instead, the middle of the road organization decided to........go middle of the road, and sell of the pieces folks knew were being sold (sans Burger), but not be aggressive about moving other pieces that would have really set up the future.

I can't stand Rick Hahn like most people, but....the moves that WERE made this deadline, I strangely like every single one of them.
