Feel like they should have taken care of that last season

Edited by Bob Sacamano

So I’m assuming they are going to decline the 2024 option now?

POS training staff is abysmal

Makes sense, unless you just want to clear the $15m in one season. That probably doesn’t make sense though haha

Seems like an easy decline.

Exactly but these are the White Sox with their "crack" medical, training and conditioning staffs! ?

Absolutely not paying a guy 15 mil not to pitch. Gets a 1.5 mil buyout.

If they were smart they word but remember before Liam got hurt the word was out that he wouldn't be traded because he was a "favorite" of JR. ?

That’s 1.5 million every year until 2033. It’s not JUST 1.5 million.

Team gets more unlikeable by the day

Still I think Jerry with his cheapness would rather kick that can down the road and only pay him the 1.5 every year until he sells then he can be off the hook for it

Yeah, each year for next 10.

Not going to hate him he likely could have taken a medical retirement

Probably happened because they stressed the arm too much after such a long layoff

Welp. Probably gotta buy him out and reallocate those $13.5M dollars elsewhere.

They will reallocate that 13.5M in Jerry’s pockets

Add closer to checklist for 2024.

Might've been the last time we see Hendriks in a Sox uniform. Another sad day.

Make Kopech the closer....I'm sick of seeing him fail as a starter...I want to see him fail at something else.

This was not an emergency surgery so the front office had to be well aware!
