  1. Check his road splits last year. I'm guessing it's just a fluke or in his head, but he is a pitcher like hitter on the road.
  2. Besides being left handed, for $75 million, what does Benintendi bring offensively that Nick Madrigal did not?
  3. This unp sucks on both sides of the plate.
  4. It;s a shame. Maybe they can get someone to hit a bloop and have Robert nail one.
  5. And I get that. They will still be picking players from the same sales bin, but maybe Getz picks someone Hahn wouldn't, and at worst it's a push.
  6. Hahn has shown he can't pick a 2B. If they insist he remain GM, they need to fade him. Ask him who he likes at 2B, and eliminate that player from consideration. I am not kidding.
  7. If someone doesn't get on for Robert, the Sox have very little chance today.
  8. I don't have speakers right now but does this video come with circus music?
  9. On a positive note, Gio has looked good today.
  10. There was a reason he was available at that price. He's this year's Keppinger, Carlos Hernanadez, Josh Harrison, Leury. In other words, a guy whose heirs are very grateful someone employs Rick Hahn as a baseball executive.
  11. It's beome all too common. I don't know if he knows much English, but he needs to go off on an umpire one of these days. Maybe that will get him some calls.
  12. I agree. This TLR style of throwing guys anywhere doesn't work. The ball will eventually find them.
  13. Maybe he could transition to something more his speed. There are a lot of things a guy like him could make a lot of money doing. And he might actually be good at them. Obviously, not a good MLB GM.
  14. Why doesn't Hahn do the noble thing and resign?
  15. He showed them yesterday why he couldn't play 1B.
  16. Please burn all of Gavin Sheets' gloves. He should bat against RHP at home, and that's about it.
  17. Just got an email from the Sox. Tax Day tickets. Tickets for April and some May games from $4.15? Get it? Tax day, although Tax Day is 4/18 this year. So I clicked to check it out. They said due to high demand you are in a cue. 49 people ahead of me. I wonder how much they pay for that service. Like there's such high demand for White Sox tickets, Ticketmaster can't handle it. LMAO. I may have bought something if they didn't take me for such a fool.
  18. It was a bad throw but even if he got him, the Sox would have been in a lot of trouble with a runner on 3rd, one out, and not exactly a strikeout pitcher on the mound.
  19. At least this game will be a quick death. Such a promising start. Then, nothing.
  20. Round is a shape.
  21. Im sure he knows that. I think he may be considering Eloy's next injury.
  22. I just hope TAs knee isn't too bad. Let's face it, this is the White Sox. Playing with a roster a man or two short is no big deal. So if they are calling someone up, it's apparent they don't think TA will be able to play in a few days.
  23. I don't think it's a question about being weak or soft with any of them. It's just the fact that the same guys get hurt every year, multiple times, yet the Sox model continues to rely on them to be healthy. Some guys are just injury prone. Jose Abreu wears no padding and has been HBP 118 times in his career. He doesn't get DLd. It may be luck, it may be just the way it is. Some other guy if they got HBP 118 times with no padding might have missed a few seasons worth of games.
  24. It's really not a joke. It's players that are hurt all the time, and unfortunately, the Sox plan is fro these guys to remain fairly healthy. Does anyone really think Robert will play 145 games? Does anyone really think Kopech won't be on the IL eventually? Eloy got himself in great shape. People used to blast him for supposedly being fat. He isn't now. Still gets hurt. Kopech and Robert are 2 of the most physically fit MLB players, yet always hurt. Joe Kelly, they signed hurt and had appearance limitations in his contract. Of course he will get hurt more. What they need to do is somehow plug in some players into the core that can actually answer the bell. They had one in Abreu, but it was time to move on. They need guys who can play the season not hopefully 95 games. As injured as Eloy has been, TA averages less than 10 games more per season since Eloy arrived.
