  1. They aren't going to rebuild again. They don't have Sale, Q and Eaton on team friendly contracts to extract no brainer prospects from other teams. Without those, the previous rebuild would still be ongoing. Besides, even the slightest rebuild is admitting they were wrong. That is something they don't do.
  2. Will people be as pissed at TA for being injured as they are at Eloy? The fact is, there is more than likely no strength guy or trainer that could keep these guys on the field. That is the problem with the Sox roster. They rely on too many guys who are injured a lot of the time. It's not their fault they are hurt. It isn't the training staff's either. Sometimes they just happen. And for some guys, they always happen.
  3. NBA set some attendance and sell out records this year. Pretty incredible when you consider the price point of NBA tickets. Maybe it has something to do with there now being more than a few teams with a legit chance to win it all.Personally, although I could watch Steph Curry shoot all day long, i'm much less engaged to today's game than in the past. It's basically a 3 point contest. I don't blame them playing this way, I'm sure the math says it's the way to go. But when players are passing on a dunk during a fastbreak, and kicking it out for a 3..........I'd like to see them move the line out a couple of feet, and eliminate 3s from the corner.
  4. If Tim needs work done on his knee, I hope JR has lost Lonzo Balls surgeons numbers.
  5. Jason says yesteday
  6. Leury would have made that play. Maybe.
  7. Giving injured players lucrative contracts, and seeing them get even more injured, is a new staple in the Rick Hahn GM for Dummies book.
  8. Joe,Kelly hurt? No way.
  9. Strange it hasn't been announced. Maybe he's there just in case. Maybe someone is under the weather.
  10. Unless someone is hurt, I agree. No one is going to claim him.
  11. Besides, if someone was suspended, it always is appealed.
  12. Im guessing the stiff they just called up gets DFAd and then sent back down. On a good note, the Big Baby was taking BP today.
  13. He most likely wouldn't have fractured his ankle if he tried to barrel Seby over. Feel bad for the guy. 6'7" SS who can hit and run and throw are fun to watch..
  14. Looks like he was coming at him to knock him over but had second thoughts at the end, and he just got crushed.

I think Ozzie thinks Kopech is Chet Coppock's son.
  16. Who is the last non first round pick who the Sox drafted and developed who you could say was a really valuable player? To cherry pick a little bit, throw middle relievers out of the equation. In the last 25 years, since the Buehrle draft and follow, it looks like , despite KWs reputation as a scouting genius, it’s only Marcus Semien who they traded before he became good.
  17. The concerning thing to me is this team is getting killed with guys like Robert and Moncada and TA and Cease basically playing about as well as they can.
  18. Hahn knew Liam would be out a while perhaps at one time the entire season. All he did for the bullpen was pick up a rule 5 guy. How bad do you have to be? He makes GarPax look like HoF execs.
  19. Here comes the slump.
  20. Have you seen his other choices?
  21. Think how bad of a GM you must be when during your supposed contention window, your first roster pitching move of the season is bringing up a 29 year old with no major league experience and an ERA of 9.00.
  22. This is one guy Hahn got right. Think of all the players he’s paid not to play for the White Sox. Considering how little depth they have, this guy is as good of bet as anyone they can get cheap to eventually help out.
  23. Ruiz looked really good the game I saw him in the WBC. I was hoping for a surprise from him this year, but he's been batting practice. Don't think they exactly upgraded here, as Hahn taking most of the winter off is already starting to show. Obviously this organization is not serious about winning, just hoping for a few breaks.
