The White Sox try to sell themselves as a family friendly team. Moreso than probably any other professional team in town. Yet they have traded for wife beaters Meyers., signed multiiple wife beaters now. Remember Wil Cordero?, had a 2 time DUI guy manage the team...It's really pathetic.

Even if the 1000 to 1 came in, and she made everything up, it's yet another huge distraction. Another unforced error by the White Sox front office. My God, how are these people still making decisions?

Remember, the White Sox traded for a wife beater once. Someone who was seen doing it by several witnesses on the streets of Boston.

Think of what an idiot Clevenger must be to get himself in this situation. Besides being just a bad guy, he is as dumb as can be.

The accuser has been in contact with MLB since last summer. I hate Mike Clevinger. I hate Rick Hahn. Why do I not rule out the possibility the White Sox knew all along, and knew he would eventually be suspended, and they wouldn't be liable for the the contract. All so they can say they tried, but s%*# happens?

I think you are underestimating the pitch clock. I think it's going to make the game a lot better. I also think it's going mess with projecttions. It's going to really throw some players off and really help others.

Well, if Jimmy Rollins turns back Father time, if Brett Lawrie becomes what everyone hoped he was several years ago, if Austin Jackson does the same, if Mat Latos turns into the stud he was supposed to be, if.................Oh wait, that's why the Sox started the rebuild. Looks like they are banking on the same s%*# again. I'm beginning to think the rebuild was basically so JR could bank some cash.

There's been times Eloy actually looks decent defensively. Of course it usually ends fairly quickly with some sort of injury. And it's 50/50 at best he throws to the correct base or a cut off man.

I still think Madrigal can be a decent player if he could stay healthy. That's a pretty gigantic if at this point.

As far as I'm concerned, it's better than spending pick #13 on Courtney Hawkins, and he supposedly fits the profile of what you are supposed to draft. I just want them to get guys that help them win, no matter what the position. And relievers are pretty valuable these days. Much more than car salesmen.

The guy can't hold up as a reliever. How is he going to hold up as a starter?

Been watching MLBN lately. O'Dowd seems to think Lopez is a pretty big injury risk. The Twins rotation is pretty good right now, but they really don't have an ace. Quite a few #3 guys though.

If I'm trading Arraez, I'd want more than Lopez.

I laughed when Steve Stone insisted Lynn did everything he could to pitch 200 innings, including being in top physical condition. I think Steve knows the game, and sometimes he is really good. But he thinks the audience is just a bunch of total idiots.

I wonder if Shelley will be putting guys with 1-2 counts on first base.
