There is an ineptness that cannot be denied. They fired Dombrowsiki. When they decided to fire Gene Lamont, they replaced him with Terry Bevington. Terry Francona was in their organization. The other day, I went back 12 years or so to see if any White Sox draft picks not picked in the first round turned out to be good MLB players. The only one I saw you can definitely pin above replacement level is Marcus Semien. Of course they traded him for crap before he was any good. At some point, someone needs to be held accountable. But it appears JR couldn't care less and thinks the fans and press are White Sox eniemies.

And Dan Evans wasn't really poached. He moved on when he was beat out by KW for the GM job.

Rick Hahns best move. Gio, Lopez, and bait for Lance Lynn for Eaton. Rick , when you think about it, and see what other teams usually wind up with when they trade their best players for prospects, made 3 great trades. Eloy and Cease for Q was great. Moncada and Kopech haven’t performed as hoped but they still have a ton of talent and Sale was going to get hurt, so that was a pretty nice move too.

Great news that Gio has looked great lately. Offense only scored in 2 innings all day. But lighting and cold could have had something to do with it. Bummer was shaky again. Would be nice to get him back to at least sometimes filthy. Lopey was the good Lopey tonight. I like that Lopey. Eloy made it through without a trip to the hospital or an x ray machine, so that’s good. He is going to hit eventually. Burger is fun. This entire team used to be fun. Romy made a nice catch in LF, even if his path to it was a bit curious. And Pedro defenses out in the 9th. I liked that a lot. So finally, more positives than negatives . To me, it was a big win, because another L and things really could have snowballed. Get the first series win tomorrow.

Eloy in RF. Hope he makes it through uninjured. If he does get hurt out there, Pedro needs to pay.

This is a lot better than making people wait 2 1/2 hours yesterday and then playing in the same or worse conditions than the conditions you waited out.

I think we are at the point where "they are not Hahn" is good enough until JR is not longer around. Something needs to change, even if it seems minor.

It's the fans fault. I always thought people saying the Sox hate their fans was a bit over the top, but I've been coming around to believing that it's true more and more everyday.

I am as frustrated as anyone, but we all know even in the best of times, the Sox go through a 16 game stretch where they lose 10 games. Of course, starting the season that way doesn't give much hope it's going to get dramatically better. Defense and the bullpen are killing this team.

They worked on fundamentals hard, and it still seems like it hasn't paid off at all. Hopefully Liam can come back and not miss a beat, because you can't win games when your bullpen is as bad as it is currently. I really don't know what the front office was thinking with about zero pitching depth.
