That’s weird. Lynn was even fatter 2 years ago, and Stone said on the air no matter how he looks, he’s in great shape,.

Romy was basically lined up with 1B.

What happened there.

You can blame Robert for not hitting the cutoff man but Romy was nowhere near where a cutoff man should be.

Too many DHs. RF and 2B and LH hitting . Amazing the fail after 2021. Hahn compounded that bad offseason with another awful one basically believing the only problem with his team was Tony LaRussa.

Which inning if any will the Sox score their run or runs tonight?

The vast majority of this board were very happy they did.

If the Sox lose this game, and it certainly looks like they will, no team in MLB history will have ever won a division with a start this bad. It’s hard to believe the ALCentral will field a WC team.

I have zero confidence this will happen.

I’m as big of Ronert fan as there is, but leading off these days is a managerial fail.

Lucky the throw was so bad. Elvis was dogging it at the end.

Do the Sox have any international signings who haven’t played a game yet Hahn can trade to get him.

My friend and I do this thing where we imagine what baseball players would be if they had no baseball talent. We figured Clevinger to be working the Tilt o whirl at the traveling carnival.

The start could have been better.

Then said it was an ownership decision, and that logically if what they did hadn't worked out, they would be looked at differently. Except for 2005, what have they done that HAS worked out? And they all are still here. Of course mentioned injuries. ..the same old crap. It's like the annual Sox aren't what they thought they were article.

One of his quotes is "Accountability around here is not a problem." So KW is in LaLaLand.

Read this and tell me how many times over the years you have seen the same thing. It's Groundhog Day. For those without an account, the Sun Times is now a non profit. You can sgin up for free access. https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/2023/4/25/23697737/williams-on-white-sox-struggles-im-not-in-a-good-place-right-now

Hopefully Robert could lead off so he can maximize his opportunities to whiff. Is it crazy for me to think perhaps moving him down until he starts hitting again seems logical?

Fire Rick Hahn
Who can argue with JR's approach. This is his 43rd season of ownership, and his team had that one year it won a playoff series. What ungrateful bastards White Sox fans are.

I honestly thought after Robert made that great catch yesterday, it was going to be the turning point of the season. He was smiling, the team was fired up. The next 4 batters scored, the game, and the season, were over.

Fire Rick Hahn
Yeah, but the White Sox tried. Maybe have a parade and award them a participation trophy. Rick then can speak afterwards.

Actually he may have found a decision making job if he left then, I agree with you. Sox were coming off a great partial year, probably a little earlier than had been assumed. Now, who would hire him? Granted, he tore it down and did well with Sale, Q and Eaton because of contracts he negotiated. But not many teams will have that. Development and roster construction are not strengths. He obviously has a hard time with free agency. Filling holes is a huge problem. I could see a team hiring him for contract negotiation purposes, but he's working his last job as an MLB franchise personnel decision maker..
