4-16 GT: Orioles at Sox (1:10pm) - Delayed til 3:30

His "suckage" right now is a 120 OPS+. 7 doubles, close to .400 OBP. What exactly are you looking for? -
This team is going to lose 90 plus games...

It's the fans fault. I always thought people saying the Sox hate their fans was a bit over the top, but I've been coming around to believing that it's true more and more everyday. -

I am as frustrated as anyone, but we all know even in the best of times, the Sox go through a 16 game stretch where they lose 10 games. Of course, starting the season that way doesn't give much hope it's going to get dramatically better. Defense and the bullpen are killing this team. -

They worked on fundamentals hard, and it still seems like it hasn't paid off at all. Hopefully Liam can come back and not miss a beat, because you can't win games when your bullpen is as bad as it is currently. I really don't know what the front office was thinking with about zero pitching depth. -

Gavin Sheets at home vs. RHP, usually is pretty good. -
He couldn't make the Reds. Wouldn't surprise me if he clears waivers and is outrighted.

Mike Clevinger questioned about walkout song before home debut

The White Sox once fired their sound guy for playing Whitesnake songs when Chuck Finley was pitching for the Angels. His wife at the time used to date or be married to their singer and she was in some of their videos. -

It's going to be colder and windier when they do start. -

I've been at the park since 1245. There's been a window to play all day. Some on and off mist for a little while, but nothing that would delay a Little League game. JR got nothing from us for concessions, and we are now leaving.Tickets were free so only our time lost. I know they can't control the weather. But they handle it so poorly. -

So since they finally updated at 205 and said rain would be in the area until at least 230, no a drop has fallen. So far, if they had started on time there has been nothing that would have causeda delay. -

Always an ominous sign when the team provides no updates. -

I am at the game and it's misting on and off, but they have played in a lot worse including a World Series game. -

Should have hit Diekman. Take Pedro's toy away. -
I think going on the IL is part of the new White Sox initiation program.

Or it could be for Romy who basically has been used like a 5th OF. -

First off, what did this clown think he accomplished with this? Secondly, how does whoever is in charge of actually playing it go through with it? -

If Graveman gets out of this inning, think of the crap the Sox can send to the mound in the 8th and 9th. -

The Sox pick the wrong HS guys when going that route. Hawkins the big miss, but they shocked us all and picked a couple of HS pitchers a couple of years ago overshot, and they suck. And Noah Schultz already has arm problems. -

I was at the game and didn’t see a reply, but his last AB Eloy looked like he hurt himself again. Did a foul a ball off his nut bag? -

I just never realized how small he is. He isn’t an awful player, although might be in a couple of years. He just seemed so good in Boston. Now he’s a way more expensive, left handed OF version of Nick Madrigal. -

I agree with you Greg. The bullpen, especially without Hendriks, is a huge problem. Hahn has spent more money on it than anyone else, and it’s still a mess. Liam is great., but all the others he pays a real big wage are questions. Kelly blows. Graveman must have something wrong with him because he makes few appearances. Bummer looks decent, but another who apparently is on restriction. Diekman is a gas can, who really went out of style with the 3 batter rule. You can tell if he’s good or not that day with his first batter. If he’s not, you have to get him through 2 more. Lopez is potentially really good, but still goes through stretches where throwing strikes is an issue. And pretty much the rest of the bullpen would be AAA fodder for any other team that would try to call itself a contender. LaRussa was a huge problem, but RH thought just getting him out of there would fix everything. Wrong again. The bullpen has a 3 run lead and has to get 9 outs. And it’s not even close. I know firing Hahn and/or having KW resign might not change much. But it will change something, and something has needed to change for at least 15 years. How any of these guys see what they produced for “sustained” success, and not see they are not worthy of their positions anymore, is beyond me. At least with the Bulls, job for life holder Pax realized this with himself, and told the Reinsdorfs, would then had to make a change. Hahns prove yourself again quote shows he thinks he has already proven himself. And he has. He’s proven he’s a bad MLB GM. If he were to ever leave, the only job he would even have a slight shot at would be with a team like the Marlins or Pirates. Teams that never win, but might have a 1 in 20 chance of being interested in him because he might get their young players to sign extensions.
