As for his future role, it depends what he does from here . The White Sox aren’t going to commit to him long term based on a few games. I personally would like to see more consistency, but with the weather, and age of the season, we will need time to determine that. He is doing a heck of a lot better than I thought possible a couple of years ago. But his status a part of the next Sox contender still has to be in the air. Other than the KC games, he is a DFA candidate so far this year. Give him ABs and see what happens.

I could see it if a guys slipped, but this is a guy who at best is being drafted in his appropriate spot, and it isn’t like the Bears are Super Bowl bound. In the grand scheme of things, it probably isn’t a big deal. But IMO, they are going to wish they had that pick next draft. They need all the players they can get. This is one less.

So many players ask the umpire if they swung at a strike. I was taught to never do that. It sort of gives the umpire the impressing you don’t know the difference between a ball and a strike.

So basically, you should sign good players as Free Agents, and trade all your draft picks for good players, because expecting one or two or several out of any draft is not being realistic.

So basically you're lucky to get 1 good player in the draft, but there are 32 teams with 53 man rosters, and short careers, with . So 95% of the NFL must suck.

Simple math will show that can't be true. There are about 1700 players on NFL rosters. Careers are pretty short. They can't all be first round picks.
