Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
I hate to admit this but I disagree with you. Kopech should have always have started in the minors to manage him as a starter until mid-May/June Rodon should have been given the QO and Kimbrel let go. They missed badly on this. One week away from starting and they have no 5th starter and relying heavily on Keuchel to not suck and Cease to be a #3 on on world series team..... Keuchel wasn't on the playoff roster and Cease wilted in the playoffs. Rodon wore down but is not injured (yet). This is what ruined the offseason.

Score the Offseason!
Picking up the option on Kimbrel then letting Rodon walk for nothing outweighs everything. That is a firable mismanagement of assets and at a minimum pure baseball stupidity.

Molson Coors new Sox domestic beer partner
That's an impressive area down there and accessible from the park via section 108/109.

Molson Coors new Sox domestic beer partner
From a marketing perspective those are all a step back. The varied options was always a big selling point to me. I liked the Corona on tap but not a big Modelo fan for the seats.

If he is in the top 5 in Cy Young, not the worst idea.

First I heard of him was yesterday. Seems to be the potential back up.

At what point to people stop caring about the personalities in Hollywood and giving them an outlet. I can appreciate their content but they have zero credibility to me. Same thing with athletes.

Vaughn has a hip pointer injury, out 1-2 weeks
Why are pitchers shagging fly balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
I hate to think this way but the longer there is no word the more likely to me that this is a major injury or that it is nothing and he is day to day. Not reporting and trying to fill the spot externally is what I am looking at and hopefully it is just an ASB thing in that case. Day to day is obviously best case and that is why he and Burger just have "discomfort".

Leury is going to be thr every day RF and start 140 games if he's healthy I'd hate to admit it but that's where I think it goes.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Leury Garcia is going to be the every day RF. How was Conforto a pipedream, he's not even signed.

Jake Burger is actually pretty interesting
Burger is taking at bats away from Leury Garcia.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
I think the White Sox budget is $190M and until Kimbrel is moved they are stuck where they are at. To me it's that simple.

You give him the $200K because your offseason has been a disaster and this is just the icing on the cake of stupidity. I won't even get into the baseball results and the bargain basement price

That may be why Hahn was talking about Vaughn going to AAA to start the year, to give Micker a look.

3/22 Spring training game vs MIL
Sadly Garcia is a part of any every day lineup at this point especially being a switch hitter.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
He is going to play 140 games and get 500 at bats if healthy. Today's lineup leads is going to piss me off all year as Sheets/Vaugh are the "second" clean up men who can drive in the low OBP guys ahead of them who are never on base so when both have 18 RBI at the all-star break they will appear to be failing and the Sox will need to trade for a big DH bat but instead will add a RP.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
This whole thing could have been said 12 months ago and it went well and the post season was a failure, same as 2020. As they saw last year injuries happen that leave holes and they did nothing to address this. People understand that there is talent but have all seen that this talent is not enough and the organization ahs no depth.
