WHITE SOX SIGN BRIAN GOODWIN
The White Sox do not need a DH, a LF or a bat. They need somebody that can field the CF position that is all.

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
The White Sox have much more viable starting pitching this year. I posted earlier that Vaughn and Yermin have covered for the loss of Eloy. Now how do they cover for Robert? Engel coming back helps but they need to make a move. Grandal and Abreu need to warm up and the pitching needs to stay healthy. If the Sox get 25+ starts out of each of the top 5 starters they will be fine. If Eloy and Robert are back in September good things can happen.

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
The Eloy injury has not impacted them. Robert will but it's not a 20 game swing. Rodon and Kopech adding to the staff negates this. Go get a guy for CF and go from there.

Sadly it seems Eloy and Robert can't stay healthy.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
I think this is across baseball. Go look at every team's record not a lot of teams playing well. Everyone seems to be at .500

Why would they trade Lynn and Rodon that makes less than zero sense. So you are punting on the season already? Holy shit you really are just a troll.

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
Abreu, Moncada, Anderson, Yermin, Vaughn and Madrigal are good hitters. Eaton is serviceable. Collins and Grandal will be fine. That leaves the hole left by Robert. Sucks that they may have to give up a young piece to fill his role. If the bullpen figures their stuff out and the rotation stays healthy they will be fine.

What is the worst case scenario for a hip flexor?

White Sox seem to always have issues with pop ups.

Gio is just not locating his pitches.

Indians @ Sox, 4/30
I can agree with that. He has some thing for Leury.....wonder if Shelly Duncan sucks at his job as these dumb moves could be from his role....whatever that may be.

Vaughn was having a tough day and Garcia had a good day yesterday. I am not a fan of that move but it is what it is. Nice to see Bummer and Foster do well and Dallas settle down.

White Sox Game 1 Winner!
What an outing for Cease.

Luis back, Crochet IL, Mendick 27th man
I have felt that Crochet was used on the big league to simply mange him until AAA starts and use that big arm when needed. That has not worked. Send him to AAA and maybe add him in September.

Congrats to Nate Jones/Carson Fulmer, back in big leagues
I was agreeing with you. not sure it came off that way. I am going to go to the Cleveland, Arizona and Seattle fan sites to create an id to complain about how awesome Evan Marshall is.

The TLR Manager Thread
So is Ethan Katz getting a pass on this? Shouldn't he check between every inning on how the starting pitcher is doing? Not sure he is blame in the Foster game. Maybe Tony does not listen to him but last night he would be as much to blame as anyone.

The TLR Manager Thread
Eaton hurt himself sliding back into second and probably should have come out of the game but he is one of very few reliable players at this point in time.

Just mailing it in now.

Tony loves him

Abreu had a worse night as anyone.

Tigers @ Sox
The inept offense is the reason this game went to shit. Some questionable managing but Saturday, today and 6 innings Sunday offense has sucked.
-
Tigers @ Sox
Terrible offense and manging.
-
Tigers @ Sox
This game is on the piss poor offensive effort since the 4th inning Sunday.

Letting them hang around. Garcia is worthless.
