  1. My Droid has a mini-HDMI output, you could check for that.
  2. I’m A Minnesota Viking, And I Think The Packers Got Screwed-Chris Kluwe
  3. They could have had a more functional and better-tested product before they made the switch.
  4. I have to go up near Green Bay for work later today. After all the s*** I got after the NFC championship game a couple of years ago...
  5. Game-winning "touchdown" "catch"
  6. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 08:00 PM) He already has. But whatever. 2009 please.
  7. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 08:02 PM) Seriously, you f***ing people are delusional. The guy's wife was in an emergency situation, let's mock the f*** out of it. Mitt Romney doesn't understand how pressurized cabins work. It's a little funny. End of story. Start of kap meltdown.
  8. QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 11:43 PM) There's an enormous amount of observational bias in this as well. We know the refs are replacements, thus missed calls seem that much more obvious. What is most likely true is that we fail to realize how many calls the normal refs miss, and also tend to overreact/over estimate the number that the replacements are making That said, there is still an obvious difference Regular refs makes plenty of their own bad calls, but they understand the basic rules of the games. They don't give extra timeouts and challenges left and right, they don't put the ball on the wrong 44 yard line, they don't take 7-10 minutes to make a relatively simple call. We've had three solid weeks of refs not knowing the rules and blowing major calls in multiple games now, all so that the teams can save about $100,000 a year.
  9. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 11:30 PM) Im note sure I see the humor in that comment. These guys are doing the best that they can, its not their fault. This is squarely on the NFL. They can choose to not be scabs in way over their head.

Well it'd be hard to top what's usually considered a top-10 20th century American novel.
  11. A Conservative History of the United States (more at link)
  12. When what goes what other way? I'm not following.
  13. The message of the comic is that Romney's 47% of irresponsible, lazy, worthless Americans living off of government subsidization because they don't pay income taxes includes guys like him. The economy doesn't need more guys like Romney who continue to hoover up most of the wealth in the country while receiving the lion's share of the benefits of tax expenditures. I think most of his $4m charitable donations went to the LDS. Given the size of the commercial operations they run, the amount of money they spend on fancy buildings and the political campaigning they bankroll, I think classifying it as selfless charity is a bit dubious.
  14. By his own definition, yeah. Which is why his definition is pretty dumb.
  15. I like this site for pre-made hiking trails/guides as well: http://www.everytrail.com/
  16. Both of these teams are playing awful and should forfeit their playoff spot to a more-deserving third WC team.
  17. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 08:51 AM) My TE's f***ing sucked (Gates, Celek) which cost me a win. Add to that Colston still looking like s*** and now I need a WR. I have the same TE's. They definitely didn't help my cause this week.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 08:39 AM) With all of the hikers out there, maybe someone can help me. We do a decent amount of hiking with the kids at the state park. What I'd like to be able to do is find an app that I am able to tag/flag certain points along the trails for points of interest, that way I can view how far away those certain points are on a different day when we are out hiking. Does that exist in a free app? Google's "My Tracks" is free. GPS-tracking of your route, time, speed, elevation gain, etc. and it can be exported to google maps and google earth. e.g. here's one of our hikes in Yosemite from this year: https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=213524...783d1&msa=0
  19. Ozzie can never fail, he can only be failed. Such is the life of the best manager the world has ever seen.
  20. All I need is 52 points from Mason Crosby and I've got this. My team is bad
  21. But Apple Maps is still hilariously bad, at least right now.
