  1. Isn’t it supposed to be a different font color?
  2. Huh? Tampa has made the playoffs 5 years in a row.
  3. 3.8 bWAR, 2.3 fWAR for Fedde as June nears a close. Who had that on their bingo card before the season started?
  4. They were a popular pick headed into 2021 for sure but I don’t recall there being multiple articles from mlb.com or others picking them to win the World Series like I do with the Orioles.
  5. The Sox were a trendy pick going into 2021 only if I remember correctly. I don’t recall them having the same multi year hype the orioles have had recently though. Crazy to think that the Orioles are a Burnes injury away from not even making the playoffs this year despite a great offense. Meanwhile, Guardians have JRam, Kwan and a bunch of no names in their lineup and seem to match up just fine with the Orioles.
  6. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t recall seeing articles like this in back to back years predicting the Sox would win multiple pennants in the coming years like they are predicting with the Orioles. https://www.mlb.com/news/predicting-world-series-winners-from-2023-2032 https://www.mlb.com/news/predicting-world-series-winners-through-2033
  7. Speaking of which, the AL West is perennially underrated in recent years. All they do is advance ALCS winners most years. Of course most of that was the Astros but then we had the Rangers last year (who had to beat the Astros in the ALCS in an all AL West matchup to win the WS).
  8. See post above. AL East is perennially overrated. All they do is choke in the playoffs these days. This isn’t the early 2000s.
  9. And the Orioles are on the verge of getting swept at home by the weakest division leader in mlb. And I love how everyone fawns over the AL East and yet that division has made less World Series appearances over the last 10 years than the worst division in MLB, the AL Central.
  10. I disagree. The Orioles are much more of a sure thing to win a World Series over the next few years according to the pundits than the Sox ever were.
  11. I think Baltimore is going to be an interesting case study 5 years from now when many try to figure out how that team never made it to the World Series.
  12. I could see pros/cons to both sides. You go with quality and something like Basallo, Kjerstad, plus a couple fliers but if Basallo or Kjerstad flop you’re in a world of hurt.
  13. Rushing, De Paula, Ryan, Hurt, Ferris, Cartaya not enough? 2 - 55 FVs 4 - 50 FVs that’s alot
  14. I think they could theoretically get it done but it’s likely 6 or 7 of their top 10 prospects that would need to be included in that deal no?
  15. What would a Dodgers trade for both Robert and Crochet even look like?
  16. Not really. He’s a one pitch pitcher and his fastball is straight.
  17. Crochet up to 3.8 bWAR and 3.2 fWAR. He ranks #2 in MLB for both. Very curious to see what the rumored trade offers are next month.
  18. Lol, I never said he was going 200. Said it looks like he could with how effortless he’s making it look, if the Sox allowed him to.
  19. It does. I mostly just enjoy pointing out when @WhiteSox2023 is wrong.
  20. Doesn’t change the fact that those saying it were very wrong if he does, right? And Stone never once established a definitive innings limit like many here had. Big difference.
  21. Yep, considering I’ve been one of his biggest supporters this season and have been one of the few to challenge the conventional wisdom that everyone’s been parroting for months regarding an innings limit this season.
  22. Nah, just give it another 10 weeks. Then you’ll admit you were very wrong and VERY SURPRISED when he hits 150 innings, correct?
  23. Looks like you hedged and went with 150 as your “surprise” number meaning you certainly expected far less.
