  1. I think the need to rip Getz for every. single. move. he makes is why you are confused.
  2. He’s “raw” because he sucks, I am not sure why this is confusing.
  3. Who said that? Are you saying Quero has more experience and is more mlb ready than Ellis? Otherwise, wtf are you even arguing at this point?
  4. You do understand that Ellis has been in pro ball as long as Quero and played 4 years of college ball before that right?
  5. So 26 year old Ellis isn’t ready to pinch run in mlb but 21 year old Quero is ready to play the most difficult defensive position in mlb? Got it
  6. He’s 26 years old. How long do you want to wait until he’s “ready”? Truth is that dude will never be ready.
  7. Maldonado will be gone soon enough. He’s irrelevant and plays a completely different position than Ellis. Neither guy matters to the white sox this year or beyond. People complaining just to complain. Kinda like when there was a 20 page thread about how awful it was of Getz to DFA Jose Rodriguez.
  8. Meh. It’s a mental mistake that simply can’t happen, especially when your biggest asset is your baserunning.
  9. You shouldn’t get picked off second base in high school baseball let alone when you’re 26 years old and have been playing the game for 20 years.
  10. Maybe it was nerves but he didn’t do a damn thing right in his mlb cup of coffee. If you’re a speed and defense guy you can’t get picked off second base and make errors in the outfield.
  11. I know and that’s why I think this is a realistic trade for both sides.
  12. Crochet now #2 in fWAR out of all MLB pitchers. Not bad.
  13. Murphy and Nacho gets it done for me
  14. Nothing new really. That’s why I said yesterday if I was offered 2 - 50/55 FV and 1 - 45 FV prospects for Robert I’d take it. Should have traded him last offseason and the longer they hold onto him the further his trade value deteriorates imo.
  15. This would be an amazing trade for the Sox but I don’t see Cleveland giving up this much for him.
  16. Garrett didn’t have his best stuff tonight but still manages to pick up a quality start. That’s the sign of an ace.
  17. Garrett with just 65 pitches thru 5. Chance to go 8 tonight?
  18. And perhaps even more shocking Crochet and Fedde are a combined 11-6 on a team destined for 110-120 losses.I guess it shows just how good they’ve pitched.
  19. What’s an acceptable package anyways? A couple 50/55 FV prospects and another 45 FV? He gone if I get an offer like that.
  20. It used to be we only had to worry about him staying healthy to maintain his trade value but now his performance is worrisome too. He’s striking out so much and his defense doesn’t rate all that well this season either. Move him ASAP before his trade value deteriorates further.
  21. On pace for “only” 118 losses now
  22. It was the right call to send him back out. Bad luck on the last two hits
  23. Been saying, the young pitching has me excited. Deeper than during the last rebuild even if the names at the top aren’t as “sexy”
