I am happy they decided to rebuild and I am totally disappointed in the return the Bulls got for JB but what is more devastating is the reality that all this did was buy Gar and Pax more time in this org. They now get to build a team from the ground up again which most of us have absolutely zero faith that they will be able to do. Like, its not even a possibility. They will have to hit on every single damn draft pick in the next few years including this one and have Dunn and Lavine both pan out to be all stars if they think they are going to contend in a few years. There is no top 1-2 FA's that will want to come here when the time comes to add and that is what you need to really get you over the top.

A trade of Schwarber for Robertson is not something the Cubs would do but I would jump at that in a second. I may totally be off base here but it sure seems like in the past ten years or so the Sox have done a bunch of moves were everyone said they are too cheap and way to financially conscious to do. They can only prove that theory wrong so many times before I tend to believe they arent as cheap as some people make them out to be.

The Bulls think as long as they have Jimmy and Wade they can just wait it out for another superstar to fall in their lap along the way somehow. How the hell they think that is even a remote possibility I don't know but I guarantee they believe they are only one major piece away. Can they add FA's a couple years from now to Jimmy? Possibly but not likely considering their history. They believe this is an option too. Its not like we cant think of paths that THEY may be dumb enough to believe in because there are unlikely scenarios that they can hang their hopes on.

So Jimmy is actually pushing the Bulls FO for a trade to Cleveland now?
