QUOTE (The Critic @ May 5, 2008 -> 08:58 AM) I was quite disappointed by We Own The Night. I thought it started out okay but deteriorated. Yeah I was too,I thought it was typical and predictable.A really really poor man's Departed.Although the Eva Mendez scene started it off pretty well with the pepperoni action.
  3. Drunken injuries are always so confusing the next day.
  4. Chaos you have been Rickrolled one to many times brother.
  5. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 5, 2008 -> 08:18 AM) Another argument for why wins for a pitcher are by far the most useless and unimportant stat in baseball. I agree that at times it can be decieving but it is going way to far to say it is useless and unimportant.
  6. RELEASE THIS MAN NOW.
  7. I dont feel that bad about this team.I obviously dont like the way our lineup is constructed but our pitching looks as if it will atleast keep us in contention to late in the season.

I have been looking for an addiction to bring into my life but I just havent found the motivation.
  9. Thinking heads tell me to only focus on on base % so I will ignore all other offensive stats.
  10. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 3, 2008 -> 03:09 PM) The Whitesox apologist that does the post game show on WSCR, Rongey. Pink Fuzzy Bunny And the thing is,he doesnt make us feel any better about the team.Yet he thinks that is exactly what he is doing.
  11. The only solace I take is that our pitching has been so good and that is what matters most in the long run.
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 3, 2008 -> 02:32 PM) I love when people justify comparisons they made in the offseason on May 3rd. Just sayin.Iam not a fan of Nick's game and never have been.
  13. And to think I once made a very unfair comparison... Swisher=Burnitz.
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 3, 2008 -> 02:11 PM) That is what I would do. Get Fields up and ready and slowly turn to getting the next player moved. I'd be keying in on a stud SS prospect, a stud young outfielder, and a stud pitching prospect (who you could pencil behind Floyd/Danks). Oh, I would still have interest working something with the Dodgers involving Billingsley (he's not had that great of a start to the season). If you don't get a SS, move Thome/Konerko and than Contreras in the off-season (or at the deadline if the club is out of it) and make a massive push at Furcal to jump into the offense (cause this team can still compete next year, hell I think even with moving Paulie/Thome, you can compete this year, but you'd have to be able to get enough teams to help you out and be willing to trade relatively early in the season which is a bit tough). I would think its going to be extremely hard to get the talent you want for a bunch of old players.
  15. QUOTE (robinventura23 @ May 3, 2008 -> 11:36 AM) Well, I'll be in San Fran in two weeks to see them at AT&T Park. Unfortunately, the Giants are the better team at this point and if Cain, Lincecum or Sanchez pitch against them..... Ya iam making that trip too, hopefully they wont be 5 games out of first by that point.
  16. Reality.Setting.In.Rapidly.
  17. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 3, 2008 -> 11:09 AM) The second worse, although it was badass at the time, was when I had my hair dyed two seperate colors. Did you have a Dennis Rodman phase?
  18. I currently get my haircut to where its a mohawk/fohawk/mulletish kind of cut which is pretty popular amongst white males nowadays. It got me thinking that it is probably a style I will be embarrassed about some years down the line. But the one I look back on was when I was younger I would get my initials written in big letters on the side of my head along with lightening bolts. Also recently my brother cut my hair and cut my sideburns completely off (he thought thats what I asked him to do),it seems subtle but it made me look like white trash automatically and got jokes from people right away.So what are you bad ones that were either self induced or accidents?
  19. I dont know the way things have been going lately maybe we should lock this thread now.
  20. I have never posted in the buster but agreeing to terms is always so much fun.I agree!
  21. I cant believe all the trouble Marvin Harrison is getting into he was a guy that seemed to have his head on straight.Athletes are amazing in how self destructive they are.
  22. I suddenly become aroused when Soriano attempts to catch a pop-up.G-golly it is so much fun!
  23. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ May 2, 2008 -> 03:26 PM) Well, if you work for someone else and get busted looking at Soxtalk when you werent supposed to because you got rickrolled, you wouldnt have anyone to blame but yourself. My job doesnt have much of a problem with soxtalk but loud videos of one of the greatest love songs ever made on the other hand...
  24. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ May 2, 2008 -> 03:18 PM) Broadway has also had problems in Canada.Dude!not cool I cant close the damn thing on my work computer!
