  2. The reality of this all is that the Celts aren't even thinking about Butler or the Bulls at this point, is it not? They moved on from that talk a long time ago and are totally fine with building through the draft with their seemingly endless supply of high draft picks. Its fun to talk about but I don't think a Bulls/Celts trade is even a possibility anymore.

  5. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 16, 2017 -> 03:40 PM) From January, but don't think it was posted here before. THE FBI HAS QUIETLY INVESTIGATED WHITE SUPREMACIST INFILTRATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT Bureau policies have been crafted to take into account the active presence of domestic extremists in U.S. police departments. I remember over 20 years ago being the passenger in the car that my Uncle was driving (who is now a crack head) when he was pulled over by police. They wrote him a ticket and gave it to him. My uncle then went into his wallet and pulled out a card and handed it to the officer. He looked at the card and told my Uncle to wait a minute and walked back over to the sqaud car. I asked my uncle what was up and he said lets wait and see. The officer came back to the car and handed my uncle the card back and told him to rip up the ticket, he was good. My uncle drove off and handed me the card laughing. It was some sort of official KKK card that he says was given to him by his biker gang. I was a young kid at the time and I remember I kept asking him questions about it because I wanted reassurance that he wasn't a part of the KKK or anything.
  6. I am completely ashamed of what this country represent's and stands for in 2017. Murder is legal and always has been as long as its someone non black killing a black person.
  7. We are also hoping that Robert is a far better talent than Dayan ever was. Dayan was never a true major leaguer even at 23. If Robert is the dynamic talent that they expect we will see him in a couple years for sure. Plus, the Sox have shown that you can usually take what you think is the conservative route/time of bringing up a guy and then subtract a year off of that for when they actually come up.
  8. What is happening this season with the Cubs is pretty much what I expected to happen last year to them and vice versa. Part of development is going through serious struggles and periods of over coming doubt. Every damn thing went right for them last year. Every single thing. They skipped the development periods but it finally caught up with them.
  9. QUOTE (Sockin @ Jun 15, 2017 -> 02:47 PM) Heyman seems to believe that the Dodgers are going to be in on Quintana. He says the Sox have been monitoring their prospects. https://www.fanragsports.com/mlb/inside-bas...prise-quintana/ Ideal situation if you ask me. Even if he doesnt go there they are loaded enough to make others believe they need to give up more. We just need Q to string together a few good outings. It really will only take that much to get people to stop questioning his value. People have a short memory in baseball, including the fans.
  10. I dont know what the future holds for Matt as a whitesox player but he hung in there when everyone pretty much had him penciled in as a failed prospect. He has shown he can have himself an extended career and hold some value for some years being a power bat somewhere.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 15, 2017 -> 02:28 PM) Davidson! Look out Griffey HR?
  12. I would travel and invest in properties around the world. Then I would get bored. I really think my life is more fulfilling the way it is now then if I were to have hit the lottery or something quick and easy. I have the things that I want but I have to work hard for them and they don't come all at once. I live a very satisfying life. Now once I am old and no longer interested in working hard and reaching goals then talk to me about winning the lottery then.
  13. To see comments on twitter that say this guy is the face of liberalism is so predictable. Its coming from the same people that call all Muslims terrorists. They love to paint with a broad brush with everything. Generalize everything so that when actual facts are brought to the forefront to dispute your claim your comfortable retreat will be to just go back to the same generalization. Which Trump followers eat up every single damn time.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 14, 2017 -> 12:46 PM) That would be pretty disappointing. Talking like a million dollars or less in savings. Which is why its not the case.

  19. Into round 12 just like that. Our pick should be up again within a few minutes. Gotta love a fast pace draft.
  20. QUOTE (Dizzy Sox @ Jun 13, 2017 -> 04:48 PM) 5 lefty bats out of the first 9 picks. Love it Lillian...
  21. James Fegan‏ @JRFegan 22s23 seconds ago More Hahn expects more trade conversations after the draft ends and teams shift their focus
  22. QUOTE (raBBit @ Jun 13, 2017 -> 04:20 PM) It usually happens in the first round. This won't be an underslot deal. This is the Sox diamond in the rough attempt. Area scout is Robbie Cummings. He probably begged the crosscheckers to vet and sign off on this relative unknown. Dude, get to studying! LOL Or your russian stripper.
