QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 30, 2016 -> 02:14 PM) Dang, word out of MN is Bridgewater went down with a "non-contact" injury. Sounds like it is really serious. An ambulance had to get him off the field.

Ok so I have a FLICKR account on my phone that I had created with a gmail account last year. All of my photos upload from my camera roll on my iphone to this FLICKR account so then I can delete off of the phone to save room. I just recently decided to view my account from my pc and see that YAHOO has taken over and I cant login with a gmail account from that pathway. How the hell am I supposed to get around this? I still have it on my phone which has stayed logged in since I created it with a gmail account but if I become logged out from my phone I dont know if I will be able to get back in to view that account any longer.

QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 30, 2016 -> 09:12 AM) So yesterday Willie Young mentioned that McPhee was working his but off to come back from something that would have been career ending not too long ago. If I were to bet, I'd bet we don't see McPhee this year and possibly ever more than "he'll play 12 games" McPhee was not an every down player for sure. The Bears made a miscalculation on that. The Ravens pretty much told us so but the Bears thought they could push it and look where it got him. To be fair, even if he was just used on a limited basis I would still suspect him to have injury issues.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 29, 2016 -> 03:48 PM) The first couple of seasons of Dexter were pretty good, then it fell apart, and the ending might have been the worst for a series, ever. I loved every season actually. My wife is in the same boat as you and thought it fell off but the one thing we can all agree on is that the end was absolutely terrible.
-
HBO vs. Showtime would be interesting. Dexter....

What potential city is looking for and capable of supporting a pro baseball team? I dont think there would be many candidates therefore the Sox arent going anywhere. At least not outside of Chicago.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 29, 2016 -> 02:03 PM) Chargers announce the signing of Joey Bosa. Bummer, I was hoping for the drama of a season long holdout. I am shocked. The two sides cant possibly have anything other than hateful feeling towards one another. I guess it wouldnt be the first time in professional sports that happened.

No TV show has given me the excitement and great anticipation as the Sopranos did.

Obviously things dont look very bright for the Bears this year so far however I do put a lot of stock in their capability to coach a team up. They will be better than last year and they will get better as they go along. Unless every damn starter gets injured which also seems like a real possibility.

QUOTE (hi8is @ Aug 26, 2016 -> 02:30 PM) Here's something for you both to consider: What is your continued engagement with each other providing for yourself? hi8is the voice of reason? LOL Throwing me off here brother.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 26, 2016 -> 01:28 PM) Could he just go up to Canada and play a year? That would not be smart on his part. Dont wanna risk blowing out a knee.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 25, 2016 -> 10:25 PM) I'm guessing other s***ty teams really want their top picks to sign. But those same teams would know they will likely sign anyways. The team almost always has the leverage knowing not many players will pass up that kind of guaranteed money.
-
I dont get why this was ever allowed and since it is why other teams havent done what the Chargers are doing. The majority are cutthroat and squeeze every dime that they can out of players. The Chargers are obviously being jag bags but other teams are too.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 25, 2016 -> 11:42 AM) sizzzzurpshipps that green drank QUOTE (raBBit @ Aug 25, 2016 -> 02:08 PM) LOL, that's what Dayquil is for! I thought I could hang dude.

I am a lightweight now that I am old. I took some Nyquil cuz my kid loaned me this terrible cold and now I am high as a kite with a meeting to go to.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 25, 2016 -> 08:26 AM) So you think Guaranteed Rate was the White Sox first and only call? Maybe these other companies don't see value in putting their name on a stadium. It probably would be very hard to determine what kind of business is generated just by purchasing naming rights. I'm sure they took the best deal. I really doubt they were thinking, let's pick these guys because it will really piss some people off. Due to the awfulness there are millions of more people that have now heard the name. This has been a national news story.

US Cellular doesnt even offer plans in the midwest. I am sure they were no longer interested.
-
They may sound like a shady mortgage company but its possible they had a substantial offer. If its helps improve the team then I am fine by it but damn this wasnt the greatest of timing.
-
I appears to have come to a certain point that it is beyond repairable between Bosa and the Chargers. I cant see anything working out to where he plays there after its gone on this long and with this much animosity between the two sides.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Aug 24, 2016 -> 03:53 PM) Who is guaranteed rate? Mortgage company? Vegas Whorehouse.

It just rolls off the tongue.

We are being mutherf***ing punked with this one for sure. Has to be...

QUOTE (bmags @ Aug 24, 2016 -> 03:30 PM) Stork may retire. Interesting day for stork. #stork LOL The news is breaking really oddly. Next he is going to be joining the circus or something.
-
There are no FA's out there that you would want to sign and come in and play first base next year. Unless you bring in someone via trade Jose will be out there again next year too.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 24, 2016 -> 09:44 AM) Whether is was an adjustment, being able to see his son, whatever, it is nice to know Abreu can still hit really well. I am happy to see his resurgence as well as Rodon and Anderson's development. There are actually some things that hare happening out there right now that I am happy to see and look forward to for next year.
