If the Bears were really in love with the guy would they give enough reason to the guy or to the public so people walk away knowing the Bears want him? I would think they would lay really low in their love for whoever they want for so many reasons to ensure that they will be able to get the guy. It is just a smoke screen. The Bears love someone but its not Elliott.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 12:20 PM) I hadn't seen anything official. I did hear that his teammates all know what the actual injury is, they are just waiting for MRI to confirm. Not sure if that is good or bad. Oh that has to be bad. Doesnt all the major knee injuries show signs before actually running the tests? If he just sprained it you wouldnt really know what the injury is (like his team mates are saying) for sure until you ran the MRI to be sure.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 08:49 AM) I disagree. I used to feel this way but Scot McCloughan is in charge now. He's a stud personnel guy and team builder. This isn't just Daniel Snyder throwing money around. True but it still reeks of a typical Washington bust. Has Snyder stepped out of the way to let McCloughan do his job since he has been there? I know they were better last year but I dont follow them enough to know if Snyder is willing to give full reigns to the GM.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 22, 2016 -> 07:04 PM) 5 years, $75M with FIFTY MILLION guaranteed. f*** that. The fact that Washington thinks this is a good idea makes me KNOW this is a terrible signing. Washington has been the leader of bad FA signings for years now.

Bill Polian was saying on Dave Kaplan's radio show that he thinks Norman is a product of the system and not so much a true shutdown qb because of ability. I kind of trust Polian.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 01:07 PM) is Chip Kelly still running the Eagles LOL I swear I had to think for a second when I seen that trade.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 20, 2016 -> 08:38 AM) Eseason and Feinstein cant stfu about NY in them. So you are tired of hearing about some random NY Rangers thought everyday?

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 03:17 PM) Mark Gonzales @MDGonzales 1m1 minute ago St Louis, MO Schwarber underwent surgery this morning. Performed by Daniel Cooper in Dallas, TX, team physician for Cowboys. Successful ACL reconstruct. LCL repair. Good luck my man. I hate the Cubs but I love Schwarber's game and his attitude.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 11:33 AM) i cannot reiterate enough how much i hate John Feinsteins sports minutes on the score. I really like Boomer Esiason, Jim Rome, I can tolerate Brandon Tierney and Tiki Barber, but I just cant stand Feinstein Personally I can do without all of them. For one I think its a dumb bit to even try to make part of regular broadcasting. It just doesnt work and not to mention you are putting these pudwacks in the position to be really clever and creative in a short amount of time.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 06:50 AM) you mean for the first time since last season, when they picked Kevin White So much has happened since last year kyle... LOL

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 07:30 PM) So of course after everything this offseason, Dexter Fowler has been incredible. If only LaRoche retired earlier. I have a hard time going with that logic. If the FO really wanted him they could have got him. They just didnt want Fowler enough to make the case to go and get him like they did the other two outfielders that they whiffed on.

LMAO Jimmy was like the one thing you would think with this Bulls team that was right. He was the one guy that you felt like at least he cares and goes about his business the way you would want someone to. Nope. Let Jimmy kick us in the nuts just to get that last shot in as every one else begins playoff basketball. My god this team is unbearable in every way.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 11:01 AM) The other side of that is Adrian Peterson. Do people consider Elliott to be possibly on Petersons level? I really dont know, I barely watch college football outside of highlights.

QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 15, 2016 -> 02:37 PM) Someone should produce an entire film / character just based off Will Farrell and more cowbell. Now that you mention I am surprised they havent done a movie spin off on that bit. That could be a good one with Will and the band. -
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 07:40 PM) There used to be a running joke about Paul Konerko and his house. Forgot what it was but PK is selling his home if anyone is interested for a mere $6.9M. Link has interior and exterior pictures. http://www.latimes.com/business/realestate...0414-story.html This house needs some updating actually. I dont think he gets near the asking on this one.

I love the draft. I know that its all a roll of the dice but I always become captivated by the whole thing.

QUOTE (ozzfest @ Apr 13, 2016 -> 12:04 AM) chisoxfn, were you on 670 tonight? talking about the bulls with lawrence holmes? LOL somehow I wouldnt be surprised if this was true. That sounds like a typical in the life of Gage moment.

QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Apr 12, 2016 -> 12:01 PM) This is from a poster at a cubs forum. They are currently on pace to even break their own 116 Won-Loss record by winning 135 Games and losing only 27 Games this year.........Could this possibly happen?.........One in a million shot, but still a possibility........ The Kool-Aid gets no sweeter than 2016 Cub Kool-Aid.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 12, 2016 -> 11:13 AM) I don't think it was random, I just think there are some strange parts of the story. Hayes just sticking around and reportedly telling people to call the cops, instead of running. He planned it all out and talking to the cops about what he says happened was part of his plan.

No matter how many players the Sox change from year to year they still know how to kill a good vibe in a hurry -

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 8, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) Yes, Jerry Reinsdorf. Gar wanted Lawrence Frank. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 8, 2016 -> 02:54 PM) Pax wanted Doug Collins and Gar wanted Brown / Frank. http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/john-pa...ibodeau-report/ The same group of guys that said they had to get rid of Thibs to they can have more cohesion as a group. They are beyond a joke when it comes to management. Great "basketball guys" but absolute train wrecks of managers.

QUOTE (ptatc @ Apr 8, 2016 -> 09:56 AM) If it's truly just a ligament injury anything short of a third degree near complete tear should only require a 15 day DL stint. What is the worst case scenario? ACL/MCL Tear?
-
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 8, 2016 -> 08:16 AM) Thats really hard to believe. Good news for them that its not something worse at the moment. I immediately thought ligaments when I seen the injury. I really didn't think break for some reason.
