Apparently I have been missing out on St Germain in Wisconsin.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 06:01 PM) They built a Mariano's on LaGrange and 141st too now. That place is waaaaaaaaay to crowded for me. Not finding a parking spot in the entire lot let me know it wasnt in the cards to shop there.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 08:35 AM) I havent seen those statistics, last I looked because I was in the same boat as you, I was sent some metrics where he was one of the worst in the league. Kyle had a few brutal games but he had some dominating games in there as well, against a couple premier rushers mind you. Clearly he was learning on the fly last year but he has the talent to develop into one of the games best at Tackle IMO. Terrible is definitely not a word I would use for Kyle Long at Tackle, that is just ridiculous.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 9, 2016 -> 03:21 PM) I like Marianos chicken fingers from hot bar. Sometimes get the sausage and make spaghetti at home to mix with it. Honestly never tried their Mac n cheese I am pretty obsessed with Marianos mac n cheese and my wife is pretty over me wanting it. There is some flavor in it that I just cant put my finger on.

There is still a part of me that feels like the Bears arent utilizing Long to his full potential putting him back to Guard. He is such a dynamic talent to put him at a position that historically been of less importance seems counterproductive. Now I understand that technically that might not even be the case since they will use his athleticism to run plays that you could never run with an average guard and the fact he will make Massie even better in theory but I still have some concerns about the move.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 10:01 AM) Grew up in Lockport, lived in Woodridge after college, moved to Homer about 6 weeks ago. Homer is a great place to live. Not as busy but there is enough there so you dont feel like you are away from civilization. Although since we have moved to Homer about 2 years it has already grown double in business and other developments so I dont think it is going to continue to be quiet for very long.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 09:51 AM) Combining a work trip into a long weekend in Boston and coastal Maine in a couple of weeks. Not the best season for it, but it lines up with my wife's spring break. Mainly looking to eat lots and lots of seafood. I would have lobster rolls coming out of my ears after that trip. On another note, I didn't know you were a fellow Homer Glenian (head nod to ya).

Very nice Tex. We are still debating where we want to take the kids for vacation. The early front runner from my kids perspective is Legoland in Winter Haven,Florida. Has anyone ever been there? Is it worth it?

Official 2016 Soxtalk White Sox win total prediction thread

This team could go either way easily. I can see them winning 95+ and I can see them winning 72. -
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 9, 2016 -> 02:49 PM) So let me ask a question....with Denver basically having minimal options (and defending champs), do the Bears dangle Cutler? Oh yeah definitely. It would be a bold move by Pace but hell if they want to offer some 1st rd action he has to listen. Would they want to go back down that road again though?

GET IT DONE HAHN! Wait what?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 9, 2016 -> 09:50 AM) I wish the Jimmy Graham report were real. Too good to be true. If I were the Hawks I think I would rather have Marty at this point. He isnt coming off a major injury, he is better all around then Graham, and he will be cheaper.

Well at least it wont be like the baseball off season where we speculate for months about our team maybe or maybe not signing him...maybe or maybe not having any interest...gawd that sucked.

Empirical evidence that the Sox will be good this year

QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Mar 8, 2016 -> 04:44 PM) Love what little I've seen of Avi this spring. Looks like a man on mission. People are going to be wanting to see more Avi over Jackson this season. -
kyyle is on a roll.

If the Bears sign Hicks then Goldman moves to end?

Gipson would be a nice add. I think I heard he led safeties in INT's the past three seasons?

QUOTE (Cessna98 @ Mar 7, 2016 -> 10:53 AM) First time poster. 40 year Sox fan. I like the way Hahn slow played the market. I believe that Jackson was his target all off season due to his lack of draft pick attachment. The whole idea then was to get him at the cost that the Sox were comfortable with. Hahn presented Boras and Jackson with a plan that would allow for Jackson to resurrect his career and go into the next offseason with a chance to get the big money and years. They gave Hahn a number that he was comfortable spending. This signing gets me excited. I believe they have a chance to compete very well in a very tight division. So much so that I will be picking up a 14 game plan for this year. I was just as excited last year though and signed up for a 7 game plan. They lost each game. My wife was upset that we spent that money on that team and refused to let me get another plan for this year unless they got a 3rd baseman and another outfielder. Done and done I told her last night! See ya all at the ball park! I love this post.

I wont feel like we are completely out of the woods of winter until like the end of April maybe the start of May depending on the weather patterns that are showing around that time.

Okay good. This doesn't make me jump for joy or even a fist pump but I did give a small nod of approval. LOL
