Rex, we and the rest of baseball are finding out that our minor league pitchign talent is NOT GOOD. That stated many teams will hold out for more because we are desparate and injured at that position. See Honel our golden boy. You know alot about our minors, lets say Kenny can't get someone, who would you bring up? It really doesn't matter at this point, but who could give us 5 innings with 3 runs or less? Is there anyone in our whole system that could do this?

So why not change that perception? I believe he does not want to get close because he would have to fullfill an obligation to put more money into the team and have a winner each year. Actually, I don't care if he talks to me or not, but I do care if he cares. He comes off as an unfriendly guy. For instance, my boss, Bill Gates, is the richest man in the US sometimes the world depending on the day. He donates (personally)about a half a billion dollars a year to causes around the world, Microsoft donates about 1.2 billion a year. Who knows about that? Do you folks feel any better or more inclined to buy the software because he is trying to vaccinate Aids children in africa, or feed the hungry in bangledesh. No, you don't care about that. That won't make you buy more of the product. You care about the virus attacks and how we stop it, or you care about the price of the product. Same goes here. Jerry needs to talk to his people more and explain more. He or his close army, needs to constantly be selling the product. Customers like owners who care. It gets them invested. Not picking on you!

Controlled, Many of us have chimed in. I think we have exhausted this issue. I do not like fighting at ballparks. I do believe anyone should be able to wear whatever jersey they want and cheer for whatever team they want. I do believe maturity in general corresponds with age, although everyone can site occasions where that is not the case. The idea is with age comes wisdom, and proper intelligence. If that were not the case than everyone would be a Vice president at the age of 18. For what it is worth we are talking about baseball, a place where all of us can enjoy a day have some fun and cheer on our team. I took exception to the youngsters on this board which found the fighting justified and or believes that if a fan is cheering for another team or is wearing a Cub jersey and rattles the sox during the game, its justified to beat the s*** out of the fan. I do actually find that childish and inmature. I also do not think that all sox fans are great people and that we do start our own fights. Many times I see fans with Cub jerseys or yankee jerseys at sox park only to be barked at by sox fans. Good barking, and teasing is fine, f- bombs and personal chimes lead to altercations. In addition, I am very much against half price night as I mentioned. It seems, that beer in the ballpark is just one issue, but I assure you that the teens are bringing there own for tailgating, drinking and leaving all there garbage around the parking lots, like they leave there clothes aorund there room for there mommies to pick up for them. I ask that people have respect for the game and others around them. I am not a priest nor am I some kind of whimp. I am a man who likes to enjoy the game, in safety, with friends or family. I don't think that is so hard to understand. You all seem very passionate, I like that about this board. I have met a few of you and you seem like terrific people who love a team. I hope you teach this love to your kids with respect and dignity.

No, no issues, in my section. We do have some issues everyonce in awhile with kids sneaking into our section, usaully teenagers that swear alot. I run them out. My concern is for the people in general. This doesn't happen much on regular game days, only on half price night. you can figure this out, the kids need to stay in control. Its completely out of hand. Every day before gametime, you hear Dave Wills trying to plead with people to come to the park. If this gets repeorted all the time, really, what father wants to take his kid to place where there are ten or twelve fights. Its nuts. Steff i will be there Tommorrow. Jim will be with me as well. if your around love to chat with you.

That is total bulls***. All of these fights were not started by Cub fans. I guess my point is I have gone to Wrigely in prior years wearing sox stuff and routing for the opposite team. So what. Why the hell would that provoke a fight. Sounds as if the youngsters get lit up and don't know how to control themselves. I predict when you are in your 30's with a family you will understand. I don't want to get into a big arguement here, but lets look at a couple of things. First it is the right of anyone to go to the game, wear there colors of choice. I wore my sox gear at the reds game last week. Nobody beat the hell out of me, nobody threw s*** at me. Just me being proud of my team. I could care less if people wear Cub gear. Get over it. its baseball, its a game, go there and cheer for your team. Don't worry about who others are cheering for. I hate the CUbs but I do not believe there fans should stay away from any ballpark including ours. If they want to come let them come. It helps pay our salaries. We do not have to act like animals or south side pieces of s*** when others in the park route for another team. Its stupid, childish, and quite frankly it makes everyone look bad. Grow the hell up, concentrate on your team, not the other team. Pay full price for a damn ticket, stay in control, and cheer your team on. Oh and if you can't afford it, then stay home and watch it on TV like the 10 year olds do.

Personally I believe NCorg loves people who praise him. Once you argue with him he makes fun of people. To me, that is not a great guy.
