We start Daubs against Rightys, Pauly against Leftys until Pauly turns it around completely or is a bit more consistent. Regardless, both can pintch hit late in games anyways. Harris is now needed to pintch run late in games and spell Everett in CF in the 8th and/or 9th. Rowand...I don't know about. If we do trade Pauly for a pitcher, then Rowand can play CF with Everett DH'ing.

Please stop it now. They don't have a "Taste of San Diego" cause the food here SUCKS!!!
-
Carlos Zambrano a "Glaring omission?" Give me a break.
-
One game at a time, yes. We (the team and us) have to be as excited about each win we get whether we are playing the Twins or Tigers. If not, we get complacent and way overconfident and take them for granted like we did earlier this year.
-
I agree, but Redmond's pretty cheap right now I believe and he's been outstanding lately, so he'd be tough to get. Penny would probably be easier. But I say go for B-Law. He needs a lineup behind him like we got. He pitched just as good as Buehrle last year with scrubs in the lineup. I bet we can get him cheap now with him not having that great a season like we did with Jimenez.

Another thing I just noticed and forgot about from before the season started...Loiza against TB over past 3 years: Era: 9.17 W: 2 L: 4 Opp. Avg: .366 Manual said he wouldn't pitch against TB this year at all, but sure enough he is slated to pitch against them Saturday. Going to be interesting, especially since the era balloons to 12.56 and the opponents average is a whopping .419 at Tropicana Field.

Wright should only pitch once before the all-star break, which is good. With an off day today, it should be Colon/Loaiza/Garland for the Tampa series. We have another day off on Monday, then it should be Buehrle/Colon/Loaiza for Detroit, and Garland/Wright/Buehrle for the Tribe. Espn however has Buehrle starting Sunday against the Rays. If that is true, my question would be why? As we all know Mark has thrown over 100 pitches his last two starts, so 6 days rest would be better for him, instead of 7 days rest for Garland. Interesting to see if this occurs.

PK Got "Jungle Karma" last night. Remember when I reported he was on Romey and had a great interview 2 days ago? Well, everyone that goes on Romey goes on a tear: Eric Byrnes Luis Gonzo Dontrell Willis Paul Konerko? We shall see....

MY MAN B-LAW WOULD LOOK GREAT IN GREY AND BLACK WITH SOME RUN PRODUCTION BEHIND HIM!!!! -
Robbie Alomar. And I hear Everett is playing too.
-
Yeah, Tandy computers are kind of old, my friend. Get an upgrade...

I am with you Molto, except I would like to see Maggs in CF and Everett in RF, in case Konerko starts hitting and we put Frank back at DH...

Chicago's Bruce Levine - Has Inside Information
Winning Ugly replied to Pastime's topic in Pale Hose Talk
No he's not he's been as productive about any OF this season, and he's on many of my fantasy rosters so I checked up on him just now and even with a 15-1 lead he hasn't played and neither was he playing last night. Then again, maybe we're looking at Hollandsworth, who has played for Juan the past two nights. -

I don't want to get anyone too excited, but KW said we are trading for another bat, right? Juan Encarnacion has not played in the past 2 nights, and he's not injured. -
I bet you it will be one of the following three: Orlando Cabrera - SS Mark Kotsay - CF Gary Matthews Jr. - CF The Pads are looking to deal, so Kotsay would take a bit, but Matthews would be cheap and has been decent over here. Cabrera, probably not...but nice to dream...
-
We won't get Pierre with what he has done this year for the fish, and that he's cheap for them. Leave DJ on the bench for a untility role and waive Rios, the scrub.
-
No s*** he needs to go. I don't know why many are saying Jimenez is going. That's BS...
-
Interesting you just mentioned that. This morning espn had us down as Sellers in the AL. Now we're buyers. http://espn.go.com/mlb/columns/mcadam_sean...an/1575112.html lmao

I am in between now. Sure, some things that have been said in the past 10 minutes have eased my mind a bit, but I was soooo high on Ring from watching games and specials on him from the local cable channel on SD State. I will probably be in favor full throttle by the end of the day...

Sup, Mooch. Love the Avitar!!! Ok, so now I get it. $3.9 mil = the rest of the season, right? Because his contract is like $7.6 mil this year. But a half-year rental for Ring and Almonte?

Look, I'm not buying into this trade yet. We have lost Ring and Valentine...two future stud closers not to mention Biddle. Are we really going to rely on Koch for the next 3-5 years? They have Benetiz on the block also. Why couldn't we throw in another prospect for him? -

NOW who do we have as a future closer? We trade Valentine to the A's and Ring to the Mets....who do we have??? -

He better produce fast. A one-year rental for Ring AND Almonte? f***ing terrible trade, fellas...IF he doesn't produce now and/or we don't re-sign him, which we won't.
