We go nuts as soon as anyone says something nice about the Sox and write 50 post threads if it's negative. My opinion of Sandburg hasn't changed by his obvious bandwagon jumping. Just another loser pandering to Sox fans. The only reason he said this was to jump on the Sox popularity.

I wanted to be a foreign correspondent and cover wars in far off lands. The Red Sox battled the evil empire every season. It is a better national story than the White Sox. There are way more Red Sox fans around the country than White Sox fans. That happens when you make a playoff appearance more than 4 times in 45 years.
