Even those people who believed the ball bounce, the umps call was clear, probably agree it wasn't the kind of win you feel good about. This game was free of any controversy. Just a great pitched, fielded, and played game.

I am trying to remember a better Sox game in my life and can't. This was awesome. Garland was incredible. I kept buying drinks from the bar and by the 4th inning everyone was pulling for the White Sox. The canned music was shut down and the cheering took over.

I had the entire bar rooting for the White Sox. Unbelievable. What a party. Brooks is going to get part of my bar bill. I made several new Sox fans tonight. And dashed home before the shots took effect What a game. Cy Garland
