Clinton "Dubya, when is the plane leaving, I may have a meeting?" Bush ~~ I'll just cover up with my hands, maybe no one will notice, damn she smells fine. Think about baseball. Condi "Where the hell is Clinton's left hand? Bastard."

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 08:30 AM) Like I said, Brian has tried calling at least a dozen times since January and no answer or return call. It just pisses me off because they used to be best friends. use to be is the key word. Any chance the friend is embarrased and expecting Brian to be pissed??

QUOTE(BridgeportHeather @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 02:19 AM) Totally agree on that. Back in the 20s and 30s, a "bullpen" might've consisted of 1 or 2 pitchers (that's IT), because starting pitchers went the distance (even throwing 150+ pitches) most of the time! I think the current decline in arm strength goes back to the pussification of pitchers way back in Little League, and climbs into the high school and collegiate levels as well; when they finally make it to the pros, they simply do not have the capacity to pitch like their predecessors did. pussification of pitchers You also have kids throwing junk earlier and earlier, kids trying to reach 90 and 100 mph on the gun, more weight training, more leagues, more games, and more specialization. High School athletes use to play 3 sports as a norm, now they play one sport year round. Those rules regarding rest and innings are balanced by kids playing 12 months a year.

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/04/09/politics...ner=rssuserland It wouldn't have made headlines and o Drudge, if it was a Democrat. Damn newspapers and their biases.

These guys are acting like girls. Guy way of doing this. Brian picks up the phone and calls his friend. Hey bud, do you need me in a tux or what? "Oh man, I'm sorry, I already got everybody, you know did most of this." "Hey not a problem, you got a seat for us at the reception, or do I have to take QP out to dinner?" "Of course we got a invite for you. was worried you wouldn't want to come, if you weren't in the wedding." "You think I'd pass up a free meal and drinks, it's a cheap date, don't forget I'm getting married, you should see the %^$% tiara she just bought (roll eyes) I can't wait for this s*** to be over."* Did you see the new Dodge . . . *He actually is excited about the wedding and tiara, but will not show it in front of other guys. He's actually thinking Barbie Princess and GI Joe. But that's another story and y'all ain't married yet.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:59 AM) Just more things to add. It was a strategic move by Ozzie...and it has paid off very well thus far. We could very easily be 4-0 right now(though we really should still be 3-1, just having won and lost different games). As was moving Garland to #5 and take off some pressure. And it sees to be working, especially if it means he'll pitch on Sunday against a Cy Young winner in a nationally televised game I'm guessing one extra day to rest and he's starting Sunday. Maybe he looked at the bullpen after Thursday and decided to hide from OZ, they may have needed his arm

QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 01:52 AM) Your Chicago White Sox are atop the division alone at 3-1 Now let's hope they maintain this top spot throughout the year and never look bad Not only that, but may they never look back . . .

QUOTE(BridgeportHeather @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 03:19 AM) Don't people only live ONE life??? So, then what's the point of having FOUR CONSECUTIVE life sentences??? These damn law people wanna complicate things too much!!!! He committed separate crimes. The alternative way would be to serve them all at once. This way, if by some weird case, the first sentence was voided, overturned, etc. then he could start serving the second one, then the third, then the fourth. The courts have used this as a way to eliminate people ever getting out. Another way to think about this. If someone kills one person and the sentence would be "life" and he could be paroled in 30 years, and the courts didn't keep adding to the end, but instead stacked them, this guy could get out in 30 years for several murders. I know this is making no sense, but fortunately, we have very smart people here who can decipher my ramblings.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 8, 2005 -> 04:21 PM) The keyword in your post is "anymore". When a guy is coming up through the system, and performs as well as Crede did, expectations are going to be high ... and you are going to talk about this kid thirdbaseman in the minors ... All I'm saying is the Crede earned the hype ... At The Time! And he is thisclose to hearing the hype again. About the kid thirdbaseman in the minors

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 8, 2005 -> 03:36 PM) Then there is no need to assume he 'swallowed 9 year old sausage' either. Right not everyone swallows So many times public opinion has been wrong. OJ, Robert Blake, Bush, Clinton, Gotti several times, etc.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Apr 8, 2005 -> 03:11 PM) Tex, if he would have listened to his song lyrics like you quoted then he wouldn't have had any of these problems to begin with. Yes he should have just left, scrammed, took off, you know, beat it . . . that is what the song is about

I just was looking at chisox.com at Crede has more votes predicting him for 2005 MVP then Carl. So we know Crede has more family members on the internet than Carl.
