Damn, I was going to start a Merry Christmas DBAHO thread and forgot. So what does the future look like?

With this poll, my post count tied a poster who I miss dearly around here. My Christmas wish for soxtalk is for cwsox to stop by and continue his posting. He was one of the first to welcome me here, always seemed to sense when a pm was needed to boost my spirits. We discuss, debate, and argue an amazing range of topics, and it is impossible to not make friends and "irritants" when you post enough. Peace my friends and Merry Christmas.

I just did a little checking and basically it is. So I wrote my Congressman, both Senators, and my local paper. I love cut and paste. My understanding is it avoids long lines at the few phones, and they are worried that free calls could be abused with some soldiers spending hours and hours on the phone. :headshake

My God, why don't we provide free calls home? I cannot believe we place our soldiers in harms way, and then they are charged to phone home?? That is about the stupidest policy I have ever heard.

I love how Depends states they are for "minor bladder control problems". If I need to wear Depends to get through a day, it ain't a minor problem to me.
