It's the cornerstone of George Bush's new plan to help unemployment in the cities, to reduce pollution, and show those terorrists a thing or two about the American work ethic.
  2. If that's the house in the background, I ca n tell why she picked that one to break into.

Anyone know how they have rated some huge fundraisers throught the years? As I recal Pete Townsend and Eddie Vedder did an album and I remember some 10,000 motorcycle strong Midnight Rides.
  4. At least we have the decency to interfer in foreign elections covertly through the CIA. And then, when we do not like the results, overtly through the military.
  5. I was on Rush at Division during one of the Bulls celebrations. The crowd was cool for about an hour then things started to get out of hand. I always thought it was stupid to put cops on horseback until that night. The cops rounded the corner, chest to chest, atop those horses and the crowd quickly parted and things simmered down. Until a cab was turned over.

  7. Once again, they will be looking for pitching and paying some big bucks to get it.
  8. Another great one from circa 1989 was during Bulls games, late with like 1:20 left, with a big, no a huge lead, was GRAN - VILLE! GRAN - VILLE!
  9. Someone told me that Obama was polling at 58% when there was no GOP candidate and now he is polling higher. That says almost everything. The GOP did better with a player to be named later.
  10. "Well that's what those guys in the funny suits and all the bling said. . . Y'all know the first time I was in the briefijg room and they walked in, I thought it was the Beatles doing Sgt. Peppers! Man I remember being drunk off my ass listening that that record. That was before the internets ruined music." George Dubya 2004
  11. Another biased media outlet
  12. the records "were included inadvertently" LMAO. Oops, look what I inadvertently gave you :rolly I think his campaign needs to adopt a "tough on crime" platform and show the candidate holding a gun to lots of people's heads.
  13. During my Club's Annual Member-Guest tournament we had a little side tournament called the "Rumble". $ man teams, alternate shot, sudden elimination on each hole. Toss aside any golf etiquette, grab as many beers as you can hold in your cooler, invite the Budweiser Prmotional Team (aka Bud Girls), start some music, and have 30 teams all tee off on the first hole. Yelling during the swing was just the start. Imagine 120 players, 60 carts, 30 balls in play, all going down the fairway. The comment that cracked me up was after about 3/4 of the teams were eliminated, this guy was faced with a long carry off the tee over water. He was shaking, he was so nervous. The guy next to me yells "He's sweating more than Mike Tyson in a spelling bee" The guy dump the tee shot into the water and his team was out. With $1000 first prize and no second prize, the last couple holes were always interesting.

  18. That message is said daily in PTA meetings, at Scout meetings, at awards banquets, etc. It is the carrier of the message that makes it news.
  19. I get these from both parties. I returmned most of the GOP letters with a newspaper clipping of the GOP restructuring of congresional districts in Texas which put my Congressman from Austin, a mere 300 miles away, Instead of the guy I liked whose office is 2 miles from my house and I see around here all the time.

So you would agree that there is no need for congress to vote on defense issues. That even $500,000 less would have kept the Soviets in business? And who says we won the cold war. There is still a lot of nuclear material floating around that we have to buy. Kerry wants to buy it up within 4 years to Bush's 12. Which makes you feel safer? Nuclear bomb making material in our hands or in some decaying, poorly secured from terrorists, Russian site?
