  1. The Rocket has not done well on short rest, I would rest him and pitch him in the biggest game in franchise history on full rest. Plus the Astros have a lot of momentum right now. Perhaps they could win one without Roger.
  2. He was lights out for a couple innings. Looked very, very good. Then got into a little trouble. Nothing big, just a couple hits. As a starter giving up a run every 3 or 4 innings is awesome. As a reliever in an extra inning game, pitching the bottom of the innings, one run is one run too many. I still cannot get use to him with the Yankee facial hair.
  3. Makes me feel proud to be a guy. It is never a female nurse telling a 92 year old man to take off the depends and let's party!"
  4. Flash gives up the tying moon shot and Loiza gives up the game winner. I thought E-lo looked good for a couple innings. Too bad.
  5. Interesting that you would think encouraging you to go to Temple and raise your children in your faith is a bad thing :headshake A couple thoughts I'd like to share. First from a Jewish couple after reading some of your posts. "He believes the world is out to destroy all Jews, that the world hates him. He has a built in excuse for any failure. Promotions, dating, even if he gets cut off on the Edens. Would you attend Temple if you think it is the cause for all your problems? He has the lowest opinion of what it is to be Jewish." The second from me, one of my favorite sermons when I am witnessing, involves people who are looking for salvation in a Christian Bokstore on a Thursday afternoon, instead of in Church on Sunday.

Some would think my 37 cats are strange . . .
  7. Not a problem, the next time someone makes 150 posts that all the world's newspapers, the UN, the governments, the banking industry, the entertainment industry, in fact, everyone who is not a jew is anti-semitic, I will treat them the same way. Oops, the 43% of Israelis who favor negotiations with the Palestinians are also anti-semetic. You have spent hours and hours explaining and re-explaining your point of view on the matter. Trust me, we all know your position. What is sad, is the one thing you could do to really make a difference and show some solidaritty with their plight is to attend Temple each week. The one thing you could do to help the world is see your daughter is brough up in the tradition of the Jewish Faith. But that seems to be too much of a bother to you. I think you are trying to make peace with *** by arguing for Israel. IMHO he would much rather see us practicing our faith each day, then making 3,000 word posts how the world is unfair.
  8. http://www.washingtonian.com/inwashington/buzz/101504.html Interesting article on newspaper endorsements and what they really help. Hint: Howard Stern and Rush are better than the Chicago Sun-Times

  10. When your kids complain you're hogging the good stuff. Why go trick or treating when all those kids come to your door and give you candy? Man it is so cool, door bell rings, kid is standing there giving me candy
  11. A picture is worth a thousand words y'all.
  12. I just wish they had added something to the effect that we recognize that our democracy is based on individuals voting so y'all will have to figure out which ass clown is worse, and vote for the other guy. It is almost like they are telling people not to vote.
  13. Nuke, first off I am surprised you care so much about Kerry to call him our Savior. It is a remarkable turnaround on your part, but I guess the Kerry Kamp has room for one more flip flopper. You will balance nicely Dick Morris who is now a conservative pundit and genious according to the GOP cheerleaders on talk radio. Perhaps I was too subtle in my earlier post. What I meant was: Look the media is not 100% behind Kerry as some conservatives would have you believe. Here are some newspapers which are endorsing Bush. Is this what you mean by bias? Or is only bias and evil when they endorse a Democrat?

They stood three feet away from each other, rolled a die, then screamed, I hit you in the shoulder!
  16. That's right, we will not eliminate bias in the media until every newspaper, tv, radio station, and magazine endorses the Republican slate. Then we will have eliminated media bias
  17. Now the media bias blitz really kicks in

  20. As a matter of fact, anytime the middle east is mentioned or can somehow be worked into a thread, I'm :sleep :headshake Of course, since your posts were the first I criticized on the subject you'll label me in all sorts of ways. As a matter of fact, I'd like to offer a nickname for you instead of 4E, how about Dynamo, you are so good at applying labels
