I want to see won-loss records and compare it to what their teams are doing. You gotta be winning games. If you aren't, there better be some really good reasons.

I was watching a show last night on Presidential Debates. Very interesting how they have evolved. One of the clips was interesting. It showed George W. Bush talking about humility in foreign policy and in his administration they would not be in the business of regime making. Wow, 9/11 sure changed that.

I cannot believe either candidate would have made such blatent attempts to break the rules.

I hadn't thought of that angle.

I think a better solution is to legalize, tax, and regulate. The whole gateway drug thing comes from the availability. Instead of going to your local liquor store for pot, you go to your local dealer. The liquor store owner has nothing but legal products and no access to harder drugs. Take away access to harder drugs and the gateway effect disappears.

Did you go through the mountains during the day or at night? When a buddy of mine took that trip it was all nighttime travel through the Rockies.

My lovely bride took Amtrak from Chicago to Florida one year for Spring Break. She hated it. Are you comparing a sleeper berth or upgraded accomodations to airfare, or will you be riding the regular coaches? Be prepared for many stops, etc. It is kind of fun for the people you will meet. She said they went through all the areas she wanted to see at night and scummy cities during the day. That of course may be different. Bring some good books, earplugs, snacks, and have fun. It will be an adventure.

I guess getting all my Bears news and opinion from here isn't all that good.

I'm not convinced that anything will happen. Political analysts have argued back and forth if a terrorist event will help the Bush or Kerry campaigns. Bush because we always rally around the President in times of war or strife. Kerry because we may think Bush's administration and policies have left us less safe. So if you are so inclined to influence the election in that way what do you do?

I am almost always pulling for the AL team, but this year, it will be hard to not pull for the Astros or Cards.

That is one of the most misspelled words. I believe part of the problem is every May, Hallmark and others spell it that way on purpose for school graduations. Kind of how lite came into being.

The Yankee anouncing team was the best I listened to this year. I've even learned to enjoy Milo Hamilton once the whole Cubs nightmare voice thing went away. Of course Hawk is always #1
